Gail Simone not only created the new team (albeit using the old name), but she also made a bunch of brand new characters for the team, introducing Ragdoll, Scandal Savage, and The Parademon, and recreating Catman in a big way.

This incarnation is definitely her creation.

The numbers aren't confirmed until they're in bold. Saint Walker will probably be a rare in this set.

Man, I am totally hoping for 1 or 2 more animals besides the T-Rex for Beast Boy to turn into, though I don't know how they will work as individual figures.

I think an Ape and a Gator would be nice. Some small flier and/or a snake would also be appropriate, but I'm not sure how good their dials could possibly be. He mostly turns into birds and flying insects to escape, not fight. When fighting it's mostly:

Ape
Rhino/elephant/T-Rex
some sort of big cat
constrictor
alligator

A gator could be cool - Swim ability, Toughness, BCF.
A cat should have L/C, BCF, CR.
An Ape would have L/C, Super Strength, Plasticity.
I think the T-Rex will cover his "big beast" transformation.

I'm kind of expecting two animals, one per slot not taken by BB or T-Rex BB. So my best guesses would be an ape and a big cat. And all of his forms should have a last click that represents him changing to a small flyer to escape - high defense, flight ability (no Carry), good movement, low damage.

Beast Boy also needs to be able to change into any/all of his alternate forms and/or back into his human form from the top and throughout his dial.

Yeah, I'd like that. One thing I don't currently like about the AE mechanic is that you can usually only do it on a couple slots, and those are usually easy to knock the regular AE form right through.

I do not see an AE value on Beast Boy's dial, so I'm expecting a trait that allows him to change to any shape, using the click numbers on each dial. You can replace the fig with another Beast Boy fig on the same click.

Wait! A mechanic that uses the click numbers?! No! Never! I protest! Those click numbers are nothing but badwrongfun and I won't be happy until they're eliminated forever! They interfere with my mad play skillz, yo, and give da newbz unfair 'vantage 'gainst my Barcaesque aptitude!
