I saw Days Of Future Past over the weekend. It was OK. I guess I'm puzzled by the decision to give Kitty the ability to send someone's mind through time when you've already introduced new characters. Would one more character with mental powers really have been that big a deal? Did they use her because she was sent back in the original story? This one point didn't ruin the movie for me, I just thought it odd. I think I liked First Class better.
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.

Remembering the time years ago when my oldest boy was a young lad. In line at the grocery store, and the tragedy of the space shuttle Columbia was on a lot of magazine covers. There's a cover with the astronauts in uniform, and one of them in their civilian clothes. My son points to the uniforms and says (very, VERY loudly), "Those are the astronauts that died!", and then points to the civilian photo and says, "and those are the people who killed them!", then turns to my wife and says, "Right mom!".
Man, sometimes I'm glad my kid's only 3 months cause he can't speak yet.
It sucks though sometimes cause it'd be nice to hear him say something intelligible while I'm deployed, or at least a real word every now and again. I mean come on, really? You're 3 months old now, man up!
