You can't summon pieces from outside the set with the ID cards that you get from the sealed boxes, right?

I wouldn't allow it at my tournaments, no.

You're not supposed to be playing that way, no. Only figs from your pulls.

But venues can run things how they like, I would imagine more than a few places will allow figs from out side of your sealed pulls to be used.........none of my local venues will be going that route, thankfully.

Your best bet is to talk to your event coordinator(s) to know for sure.

It would be a great way to move Fast Forces and Legacy of Hank Pym sets, though. Just saying...

Standard rules allow you to use the Pym ID card.......depending on how you read it I suppose.

fun fact: MODAMs first appearance was in the Quasar series that ran from 89-96 (I picked up a backissue collection when I was a kid visiting a local comic ship and saw the shiny cover to issue 50, which also coincidentally costarred my favorite character, Silver Surfer.

actually the id cards are instead the phoenix fragments or the green constructs :P

so there is not the partecipation figure.

Nope, no participation figure, just the cards.

Those four will be regular figures in wave 2 of the set.

So what happened to the Spidey/Venom LE figures?

Those are in a separate OP kit and have nothing to do with AoU other than perhaps the fact that you could summon Spiderman and Agent Venom if you have the right ID Cards (I don't think either card is included in AoU OP though).

They were never going to be a part of this set, so why would that info be here?

I am not real excited about this event, and restricting theme to one particular Villain. I love the fact were getting Grandmaster; Graviton; High Evolutionary; Kang the Conqueror; Hulk; Grim Reaper; Black Panther; She-Hulk; Machine Man; Quasar; Hercules; Yellowjacket (Rita); Iron Man 2020; Jewel; Mockingbird
Blue Marvel; and various Ultrons, but would have preferred Molecule Man; Radioactive Man; Jack of Hearts; Meteorite; and Songbird, over some of the others.
