Yeah, I was actually quite scared of Truff after D1, so we thought it best to send her to the Upsidedown... I didn't read my power well enough and didn't realize it was a one shot until after the fact. Either way, I don't think it was a bad decision. Sorry, Truff

Hah and then after reading the mafia proboard they talk about killing me to gain town cred for Afrcngy leaving his vote with me (which was what made me think he was scum) and wish they'd left me alive to verify tracking result (when it would've busted two of them). Irony!

To be fair, I pushed a serious lynch train on both the serial killer and a mafia goon on Day 1 and then refused to lynch a player who turned out to not be scum.

Meanwhile, VB was caught in several lies.

Then I got vig killed.

You can understand how the town's inability to go back and actually read what I said would be incredibly frustrating.



Neat game but silencing is the very worst mafia game mechanic.

I felt like the mafia was a little gimped by only having one person able to make a kill at any one time instead of switching back and forth.

I am bummed that no one believed my claim. I thought it was a good claim. I had people verify my targets and confirm that others had similar powers. I guess I should have done picked a more popular character.

I don't know why SL didn't vig-kill VB given that he caught some of the contradictions.

His contradictions were so blatant that I thought it was just honest bad play on his part. I mean they were just so obvious to seem almost Jester like.

I also knew the killer was either Roy (whom I felt was almost certainly town), VB, or JoH, because your RT eliminated everyone else as an option (and I knew Grizz and I were town.)

I figured JoH was the best target as we had no way of pressuring him, plus him being sent to the USD by the Demogorgon did not clear him of being mafia. Plus one should never pass up a good chance to kill JoH.

Honestly, we should have lynched VB the day we lynched TSP #2. 3 more townies and Quebs would have won that way. I attribute our paranoia to Gfish's great work with the vague write ups.

After reading the Murkwood thread, I actually didn't lie about any of my targets. I was blocked Night 1 so I really didn't get a result

aw man, you guys had me pegged way early. glad you (at the time) couldn't do anything about it.

great game and I feel bad cause I (a) have never seen the show and had no clue what was going on and (b) I generally suck as mafia. but I did my best to try and sneak one out. I was hopping my double vote would help and if Silver had voted with me we could have killed one more townie. I honestly thought Silver was a neutral because he never night killed me.

all in all, a great game (super fun!) and sorry to my mafia mates!!

I recommend the series, it's awesome.

This was a lot of fun, but I'm really getting tired of the mafia spite-killing me in their death-throes.

Though yeah, the Upside Down mechanic has got to be frustrating for people that are effectively silenced for the entire game. Otherwise it was a pretty interesting game.

Sad that my mason ability never came into effect, but none of the other Teens would target me apparently.

Well, that was fun while it lasted. Wish I'd been a bit more invested in it...it could have turned out very bloody.

I wouldn't have won. I needed Ignatz out of the game to win. I am not sure I even fulfilled the other part of my win condition. Had I been alive, I would probably have tried to get Ignatz lynched - if both me and vb had a double vote we probably could have done it.
I did enjoy the banter this last day though, so I don't really mind dying. 'twas a good game, but it's a shame the upsidedown mechanic was so under-utilized. Had someone gotten the radio or the lights things would have played out very differently.

You did fulfill the other part. I was wary of you for that reason.

Quite understandable. I did get a hunting knife to bloody you, but the Demogorgon was outed Before I could use it.
My vote wasn't on Afrncgy at the end of the phase though, so I am unsure if it would have counted as participating in his lynch. It is rather irrelevant though.

Out of curiousity, what items got claimed/used?

We kept posting to different threads in the upsidedown, hoping to get someone to check one of them but never seemed to make contact.

Looked like Grizzz got the lights and made contact but then got usded.
