It's not that I can only allow myself to play clix that are comics, but Halo is a videogame to me, not a comic. Sure it may have been put into a comic, but so has Justin Bieber and Barack Obama.
I wish they WERE made into Clix.
Then I could blow them up with M-80s.
I could burn them in the sunlight with magnifying glasses.
And I could have Juggernaut hit them with Dumpsters in Clix games.
Never underestimate the value of having characters that you dislike turned into Clix.
True, but it's a videogame first and foremost. I'm just not interested adding that to my collection. At the same time I also am not interested in Street Fighter, Lord of the Rings, or Star Trek clix. I think Star Trek has been put into comics, but I still don't consider that a comic book franchise either, it's movies/tv before all else.
As far as the Hellfire team, when do you need the guards? I have more than I can shake a stick at.
Doing a little looking around this morning while I've been slowly waking up.
In a thread about which preview Realmers would like to see today, I see as I too often do while looking over threads, a candidate for a game I'd call: Troll Or Moron?

I'd love it if they went all Crisis and made 2 Captain America chase figures
... though I suppose the laughing face is meant to tell us this is a bit if "I'm just joking" trollery.
I took last night off from here. There's a great deal to be done today, both for work and otherwise, but I know I'll be peeking in as I'm curious about which Cap preview(s) they'll post.

I haven't watched that stuff in a while. Cartoon network as a whole started to lose my interest. So adult swim fell to the wayside for me.
Cartoon Network's always seemed to have warring factions operating inside it. There's the group that really wants it to be a Anime channel, those who want it to be parody material, and those who want it to be mostly aimed at children. Add to that that for some reason they've been traditionally bad about how they've run straight superhero material -- The awful way they played hide & seek with Justice League Unlimited will not soon be forgotten.
The result's been that I've found it very easy to mostly ignore the channel, only coming back for a very few shows here and there.
Just checked to make sure it's still available: Hulu has all 37 episodes of Death Note free and available. That's where I watched it.
I believe it gave me Robin Pink Mane. My suspicion is that this is the result of someone's confusion between unicorns and My Little Pony. The Internet is a truly vast and frightening place.
It's time for me to get dressed and out into my day.

I've said it before, but I thought that show was one of the worst adaptations I've ever seen. Like fully half of the plot is internal monologue, so the show was mostly close-ups of characters' faces as an echoey voice in their head explains the plot and everyone else stands there blankly staring until the exposition is over. Top that off with poor-quality voiceover work and I did not care for the show.

My name didn't make sense. It was three unrelated nouns, one of which was "corn".

I don't want to mis-attribute, but when this came up before I thought I saw the above objections linked to someone who'd just come across a couple episodes on Cartoon Network, instead of starting with the first one.
For me it was a concept-driven story, and I found it enjoyable. The most I remember being bothered by was a sort of "get off my lawn!" reaction I was having to it being so youth-driven.

Just to clarify I thought death note was alright. It was just the general programming on cartoon network that drove me away. For some reason my wife and I usually only watch one channel 90% of the time. The last time I watched cartoon network the cartoons were parodies of survivor. It seemed really dumb. I miss the days of Dexter's Lab, Power Puff Girl, and Johnny Bravo. The commercial where brainiac just wants some pants. Cartoon network seemed to have some good entertaining shows. Then somewhere in turned to dumb stuff.
I think it's like miraclo said. It just can't figure out an identity for itself for one reason or another.

It's just different factions. I think that if attempts at an Anime channel (which I know have been worked on) came through satisfactorily a lot of that pressure would be off.
Cartoon Network started out with nothing more than the Hanna Barbera catalog of material, which was a boon for people looking to recapture their youth, but was ultimately very limited. Starting to become playful with those properties led to Space Ghost: Coast To Coast, Harvey Birdman, etc., which, along with wholly original cartoons being done for the channel provided a mix of entertaining, new material, though as time went on it stated to more fully split between material aimed at adults looking to have some new fun with childhood favorites (now that they mostly saw that the originals weren't quite as awesome as they'd remembered) and at kids. Fortunately, there's a lot of crossover.
There was a point toward the late '90s when some dimwit at the channel decided that what Friday nights needed was to bring in humans -- a mix of adults and kids -- as hosts for what was before a perfectly good block of cartoons. The younger of my sons, Nick, who'd been born in '92, largely gave up watching (at least on Friday nights) once they did that.
Me? I try to keep an eye open for anything new or interesting to show up, but mainly am just waiting for new Venture Brothers material to hit. I was enjoying, more often than not, Batman: Brave & the Bold (though it had early on some problems deciding who its audience was) and was catching Young Justice... when they ran new episodes.

To be fair I did watch two episodes from near but not at the beginning, but also to be fair I read the book. It was the only manga I ever got all the way through and I really enjoyed it. I'm aware of the premise, I just don't think the story lends itself well to the screen at all.

I never really watched Cartoon Network proper, but I stand by Adventure Time as one of the best things ever. I watch Adult Swim quite a lot on and off.
Speaking of which, has anyone been watching the new Aqua Teen? The new season is really weird and different. I can't decide if I like it or not. The new theme song is terrific, though.

All of the New DCU/renumber/relaunching info I've been keeping at a distance, but how is anyone interested coming down on the rumor that the 52 titles may mean each one is set in one of the 52 universes (which they've had since the conclusion of 52), so that these titles wouldn't be set in a shared universe?
It feels sloppy to me, almost certain to lead to confusion among fans, and doesn't lend itself to the growing of an overall audience, but I could see it appealing to a lazy variety of casual fan, and/or the ones who just follow certain creators/creative teams around.
If (and that's a big "if") it's true I could see them coming at this like brackets, trying to decide over time which universes to keep watching and which ones to step away from. That would lead to a narrowing of the number of universes being presented and a broadening of the titles from each. This is, of course, the purest of fan speculation.

If it were true, for me it would rank as the #2 bad move for this whole relaunch:
1) Oracle is now Batgirl again.
2) 52 universes.
3) Poison Ivy being a hero
Though #2 would explain #1 and #3. If this were the case, and given DC's penchant for bringing back and re-killing characters within a year (Brightest Day), I think we may have a hint at next years major event to once again collapse universes. Re-Crisis of Infinate Earths? Negative 52? Crisis 2: Antimonitor Boogaloo?
