You can get the first two in comic TPB format, published by marvel. They lose a bit due to lack of narrative though.

If you're really into the lineages and histories behind things, then yes. It's really short though so you could likely listen to the entire audio in two days of commuting. It took me one and a half round trips. Personally, I wouldn't pay money for the added details, but it's up to you.
