Picked up my FCBD Thor, yay. Also one of our regulars gave me his HCO code for it, double yay. The store was all out of AVM starters and CTD, boo. I wanted to pick up some team packs and maybe the starter for the map.

A lot of people signed their email's up for our heroclix tournament list to get more information which is great. Hopefully more sales which turns into more OP kits.

The only bad part is the 12-14 year old kid who showed up to play this week that was as annoying as can possibly be last week while watching our tournament. He did not stop commenting or asking questions the entire time he was there. None of the questions were rules related and only a few were vaguely about how to play. Comments such as "Cosmo, Wow! Are there cat figures also." That was only the beginning. Today he asked if Galactus was good, which is a perfectly good question for a new person. However coming from him it is scary because of the way he talked last week. He would bring him to every tournament that would allow him "when" he gets one. Before he left last week, he stated "I am kind of being annoying." I finally broke down and said, yes. That is not in my nature. If he was 20 years older and I was at work, I would mistake him for a tweaking meth head. Guess it is time to start singing kumbaya, rub my ears while saying woosah, and attempt to enter a zen like state of patience.

So yes, as planned I rushed out at lunch to hit GK. It is 25 minutes from work, giving me just enough time to run there, grab my Thor and a couple other freebies along with a pack or two of Clix just for the heck of it. Then 25 minutes back to work to clock back in just in time.

I got to the venue and guess what? "Our Thor figures didn't come in. We'll have them in two weeks." Eff that place.

If anyone got a FCBD Thor and doesn't want the HCO code, could you send it to me? I don't have the fig yet, so I would appreciate atleast having the digital fig.

I think the worst thing about being a mod is that there are people who are spoiling things from the Avengers movie. So when I check reported posts I see the spoilers. IT makes me want to ban them but I know Typhon would not be happy about that.

I just like the idea of stacking up the super rare Mr. Fantastic's trait, and theoretically in this environment chase Mr. Fantastic's last click could be a big deal. Cosmic Spiderman was recently trashing chase Mr. Fantastic on Facebook because he's not worth very much money, and that's the only way Cosmic Spiderman Guy knows to evaluate the worth of figures. I have this fantasy of him running Ziran and me getting lucky trait rolls to hit him like half a dozen times with Ultimate Nullifier.

That said, this team is NOT intended to win. Or even try, really. I'm just hoping it will be fun to play and look cool in a starting area.

I love the Council of Reeds theme. Spidey throw it off a bit, but you gotta make the build.

I know you despise it, but having the IG on one of them would actually be pretty thematic. Would be a super fun team to do custom mods of each of the sculpts.

Well, my body hurts like no other, but FCBD was a success. 785 people joined us this year to celebrate setting a new attendance. Our previous record was set last year with 511, so we were astonished. A new sales record too, almost doubling the previous record.

I'm now spending the evening laying down and listening to some Beastie Boys. Man this was a weird ### weekend. . .

And I officially own 100 Wraiths (well, as soon as I pay CC)!
