When I was a kid, English classes started in 4th grade, at age 10. It may start earlier now, I'm not sure. It does not start in kindergarten though. My kid happens to go to a kindergarten with a multilingual profile, and English is used as a lingua franca, so the kids there do know some English phrases.
One thing that does help English proficiency over here is that we use subtitles instead of dubbing for foreign TV shows and movies. There are a lot of American stuff there, so we are naturally exposed to English a lot of the time.
But no, proficiency is not at a "native speaker" level for most people.
Been listening to "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" series. Man do I love how those Swedish words just roll off the tongue. I would love to be able to speak that.

Black Bolt is most powerful ovbiously, but I prefer Artie.

Toss in Invisible Woman and you've got yourself a superhero rock paper scissors. Sound penetrates invisibility, but gets turned to light against Dazzler. Dazzler negates sound, but light gets bent around invisibility. Invisibility bends light, but can't stop sound.

If Dazzler were smart (which she's not), she would have Banshee KO Invisible Woman, then she'd KO Banshee.

I assume they're the names of the various housing developments, possibly even street names, but it just sounds like a very sexy language. Some of the character's names are cool as well. Even if they don't have a very Swedish feel, their pronunciation makes them so.
EDIT: It helps that the voice actor seems to have a solid grasp of all the different dialects of the area. His carribean accent is laughable though. Soudns liek a Swedish Jamaican.
