____ The beast was hairy, tall, and had the breath of a dead cow. The sneaky girl stabbed it in the ankle with her dagger, then cut off one of its three toes. It howled and swiped at her, but she rolled out of the way. She continued to hack at the hairy feet until they were nubs. The tall beast wavered, stumbled, and then fell right over the edge of the cliff into the murky waters below.

____ The sneaky girl sat on the grass and breathed heavily.

____ "Someone needs to start paying me for this."

____ The clearing she sat in was just past the forest, with the edge of the cliff behind her and the ocean beyond that. It would be a beautiful site if there wasn't a big hairy dead thing floating in it.

____ She stood again when she noticed something slimy crawling out from the dark woods. It looked like a crocodile with flesh instead of scales. Its teeth were razor sharp.

____ "I can handle one," said the girl.

____ Then another emerged.

____ "I mean two."

____ Then more started to pour out.

____ "Oh come on."


____ She fought on, weak and exhausted from killing monsters all day. For a moment she thought she'd survive. But there was just too many of them, and sadly they overwhelmed her.

____ The boy sped across the dirt pathway that led up the side of the mountain. He flipped the hockey stick in his hands and then fired a rock at a bigger rock.

____ "Goal! And the crowd goes wild!" He flipped on the skateboard, shot another rock and then put up his hands.

____ "Thank you, thank you. No autographs. Oh, except for you beautiful."

____ He mimed signing something and then handed it to a rock.

____ The pathway up the mountain would have taken a normal man four or five hours to reach the top, but the boy had already reached the summit and back four times. There wasn't much else to do. He didn't know anyone, and felt a bit lonely.

____ He continued to sign invisible autographs and smile for all his fans. Had he been paying attention, he may have noticed the one-armed strong cyborg sneaking up behind him.

____ "Me gonna get you. Me gonna get you. Oh, me no have weapon. Me need something to throw. Maybe rock. Or maybe..."

____ A severed foot struck the boy in the side of the head. He lost his balance, slipped right off the skateboard and stumbled off the path and over the side of the mountain.

____ He screamed, but just as quickly as he had fallen, he had stopped. It felt like the whole world came back up to meet him. A snapping sound chilled him, and immense pain soon followed.

____ "My leg! I think I broke my leg!" Screamed the boy. He cradled the snapped bone as he whimpered in the grass. "Someone! Oh, you! Can you help?"

____ A fiery figure stood over the boy.

____ "Sure," said the fiery figure. "Do you think fire will help?"

____ "What?! No!"

____ "Oh. See, I disagree. Here, let me show you."

____ Woosh.




____ Cypress woke up to a cold night's breeze. The fire had gone out sometime ago. He felt groggy and unfocused.

____ "Hey Doc, what time is it?"

____ He held his head in his hands and tried to remember what he did the previous night. Everything was so foggy.

____ "Doc?"

____ He finally looked around the site and realized he was alone.

____ "Thrush? Cymric? Anyone?"

____ Nothing.

____ I feel hungover. That can't be right.

____ He tried to stand, but his feet wavered and he stumbled. On the third try he got it.

____ He meandered towards the edge of the forest, took a piss behind one of the trees, and then slumped back down.

____ "This is not good."

____ A rustling behind him put him back into defensive mode. He stood and aimed his arm cannon into the fog.

____ "Hey don't worry pal, it's just me Thrush." The boy with the tree-branch antlers walked closer.

____ "Thrush?" Cypress lowered his weapon. "But...your speech issues."

____ "Fixed. Yeah, totally don't worry about it. I'm like your friend Thrush and stuff. We should go now."

____ His head pounded. "Where are we going?"

____ "You'll see."




____ The red man and the blonde girl surrounded the bear. The bear had been lit on fire and was roaring and swiping at anything that came close.

____ "It's a demon bear, lets knock its block off." Said the red man.

____ "Uhh, maybe it's just, like, a bear on fire?" Said the blonde girl.

____ The bear roared.

____ "Nah look, it's gonna rip your eyes out!"

____ "Well ya it's on fire. You'd be all clawsy too if you were on fire."

____ "I'm fireproof."

____ "Whatevs. Got Mr. Pointy if it comes." She held up the stake in her hand.

____ "This isn't who I was hopin' to find tonight."

____ "Ya, same."

____ The red man shrugged. "Screw it." With intense strength he punched the fiery bear right in the jaw. The bear's head snapped back and it stumbled backwards, confused.

____ "Your turn!"

____ The blonde girl darted forward and stabbed the bear in the back with her stake. The bear let out a final roar and then collapsed against an old tree stump.

____ "Uhh, shouldn't it like go poof or something?"

____ The red man shrugged and strolled away.

____ "No that's cool, I didn't want to team up anyway!"


____ She looked at the bear again and felt very sad for the creature. Had she done the right thing? Even if it wasn't a demon bear, she put it out of its misery. That's something right?

____ She sighed and turned to leave.

____ "I'll team up with ya," said a crazed voice. Baal-Berith stood in front of the blonde girl.

____ "Whoa. Didn't anyone ever tell you that red is so last century?" She tried to stab the demon, but its tendrils were too quick. They wrapped around her wrist and held her in place.

____ "Who're you supposed to be anyway? Red-Snake-Man? Skin-Disorder-Lad?"

____ Baal-Berith chuckled. "I'm the big bad."

____ Then he stabbed her in the forehead with his own version of Mr. Pointy.

Always as I'm about to go to bed. Why? Why damn it? I'd love to hem and haw for a while, but I have work tonight. So I need to go to bed asap.

I'm glad the day is 48 hours.

The writeup somewhat confuses me, so I'm going to reread it in a bit once I've had coffee.

Also, if this game is anything like the last we need to find the cult soon too. I don't know what "two and a half" would mean, but it's probably not good for us.

I am guessing it just means someone that is either short or somehow was split from the other half of their character.

Im not sure what to make of Thrush coming back either. That might just be a Groot derived power.
