Spider, Phoenix, and Crab dishonor are the big decks right now at my venue. The main spider player is good at making pretty good decks plus they have a lot of good personalities. He has a conquer deck and a dueling deck. Phoenix is just Shueginga or whatever they are called. I'm trying to run Crane scouts. All the winning Crane decks are pretty weird from Koteis, so I made a weird one that's playing old school how Unicorn used to play focusing on calvary.

So I have been meaning to post this story.

When Trek Tactics III came out, I sent two broken ships (both Assimilated Enterprises) back to Wizkids for replacement. They in return sent me a Borg sphere 026 back along with another broken Assy Enterprise.

So I decided to give Wizkids product replacement a try again. I sent them a broken Warlock SR and a broken Morro. They sent me back a perfectly fine Morro and a Mojo that is missing a leg.

So they randomly send you a good figure then send you a broken one as well? Think it becomes a cycle where you just keep sending broken figures in.

Not that anyone should care but I have a contract on my house, finally... Almost years on the market.

That is the good news. The bad is I fell down the stairs (again) and cracked a tooth. Mouth hurts, wife can see the crack running across it. No money for dentist because I have to get out of this house.

I almost want to play them myself, but I haven't found any of their characters remtorely interesting in the story since Yoritomo Hotako, and she ended up joining the Spider, then died.

I don't know about Mantis since the only person that every played them in our group has gone on hiatus for like a year so he can play board games. But Mantis and Crane are winning a lot. They had to nerf the original Crane stronghold because it was too strong. The gold bump only worked for during the limited phase because it was too powerful when it was until the end of the turn. Now the strong hold sucks, it's bow for 2 honor. Then the new Dragon stronghold they had isn't legal now because it was too powerful, they could get monks out for free so they have to use the old one.

Also want to know is last nights Agents of Shield important to watch before Avengers AoU? I'm seeing the movie at 8pm tomorrow so wondering if I should watch it tonight or tomorrow sometime so I understand some more stuff in the movie or not.

Dear god, man. You should probably watch it three or four times to let its importance sink in before you even attempt to watch AoU.

I think it's decent, but it's one of those really long games that requires a significant investment of time to be able to play, so it doesn't hit the table very often. The system of cards isntead of dice for randomizing results is an interesting experiment, but I think it feels more like they did it just because they could than because of it really adding to the game.

I'm probably going to get the expansion sometime if I see it on sale, just because it adds a zombie dragon unit.

Oh cool. I'm watching Orphan Black and they were playing it. Was looking online they were saying they were even playing it correctly in the show. It sounded interesting. I need to go to the local board game meet up they have on meetups.com. Really want to get into board gaming a bit. I still have a copy of Vampire Bites Munchkin that has never seen play. I have never played Munchkin.
