____ "Who's there?" Said the woman. The Black Tower held many shadows. "Show yourself or feel the wrath of my blade."

____ Something scurried across the floor. She moved quickly, and held her katana to the creature's throat.

____ "Oh god, oh god!" Exclaimed the creature. "How very weary and pale my face has become. I implore thee, do not give my body to the slaughter. Save me from thy reckoning!"

____ The woman was astonished. Never had she seen a talking frog...monkey? In her life.

____ "Wait, you spoke to me?"

____ The frog-monkey looked at her blankly. "Ribbet."

____ "No. No you spoke to me, I heard it."

____ "Ribbet."

____ They stared at eachother as the girl slowly sheathed her sword. "I'm losing my mind." She turned to leave.

____ "A pox on thee, vile fiend! Thou doubt my intellect, my cloak of tears, and scars of days long past!"

____ She spun around. The frog-monkey licked its own crotch.

____ "What sorcery is this? What are you?"

____ "Ribbet."

____ "Stop doing that!"

____ Usually she'd be aware of her surroundings, but the frog-monkey had distracted her. She never saw the fireball coming. Especially not when the little creature starting dancing and singing. Her body was burnt to a crisp.

____ Afterwards, the roasted frog-monkey was eaten as a snack.

____ There were two ways to travel between The Black Tower and the colosseum. The first was to take the above ground route, through the sands. This was the way prisoners were usually dragged through. Then there was another way, an underground tunnel that went from the basement of the tower to the Southern gate of the colosseum. This was the way the blonde-haired man had taken, after he had killed the teleporting creature.

____ The tunnel was long and barren. There were dim lights overhead and concrete all around. The blonde-haired man had taken this route many times, but something felt odd. Something was different.

____ A light broke near the other end of the tunnel, casting darkness in the distance.

____ "Who's there?" Said the blonde-haired man.

____ Another light broke.

____ "I think you know. I've come to give you mercy."

____ The blonde-haired man stared dimly into the distance. The vague shape of a man slowly walked forward.

____ "Reaper."

____ Another light broke, as the man in the distance smashed it and continued forward.

____ The blonde-haired man started to walk backward. "You traitorous ####. What the hell do you want?"

____ The man in the distance started to run forward. The blonde-haired man stumbled backwards, but he knew he'd never make it back to the tower. Instead he pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and started to fill the small tunnel with dense smoke.

____ Reaper's image disappeared.

____ "Hah! They don't call me Smoke for nothin', mate. You can't hit what you can't see. You bloody ####. You think I'm scared of you and I'm not. You're nothing."

____ The power staff slammed into Smoke's nose, breaking it.

____ "Ow! What the hell! Look, I'm only following orders okay. You were one of the Brood once, you know how it is. It's the urges man...it's in my blood, I can't help it."

____ Silence. The power staff slammed into Smoke's ankle, breaking it.

____ "Aghh! God dammit! God dammit! What do you want?"

____ "This is your mercy." A sword plunged through Smoke's chest. "I found this katana next to a burnt corpse in your tower. It reminds me of the one I gave my daughter, many years ago. Here is the peace in death I could not give you in life. Goodbye old friend."

____ Smoke slumped into the wall. Reaper withdrew the blade and disappeared into the shadows.




____ While Smoke died below them, The Suiciders made their way across the sands towards some structures in the distance. The sun's heat made it uncomfortable to traverse the sands.

____ Deadhawk was shocked when a blind man in a red suit ventured towards them. The man's hands were bloody from a recent fight.

____ "Another one. We'll need to take him out too," said Anti-Spawn.

____ "What? He's blind. He doesn't even know we're here."

____ "It doesn't matter, we can't take the chance. You heard the announcement."

____ Lock extended her energy blade and started to quicken her pace.

____ Deadhawk ran up to her and grabbed her arm. "No. He's blind."

____ "So?"

____ "So we don't ####ing stab blind people! Look, I get that we need to survive. And yeah, I'm a bit nutty right now and my head is a mess...but since when do we outright kill people?"

____ "Since that bltch put a bounty on our heads. It's them or us."

____ "Then maybe it should be us. Who the hell are we, to kill people who are prisoners too? Prisoners trying to escape."

____ Lock pulled away. "You sound like Cypress. But I've seen you shoot people. You told me you stabbed Luthor.

____ "I've done some things, but I've never killed someone that didn't deserve it. I kill villains and monsters. Even if I wanted to shoot Cypress in his dumb face sometimes, I never did. I don't kill ####ing blind guys in a goddamn desert. This is not what we do."

____ Anti-Spawn sighed. "None of us want to kill people, but we have to survive. It's a bit ghoulish, but it's necessary."

____ Deadhawk stepped back. "The voices in my head are telling me to do it, and you're telling me to do it. But I know...I know I can't. Desperado, Inferno, even the Brood Queen. They are the monsters. Not me. I have to believe that, or I'm no better than them." He backed away a few more feet. "You guys go ahead. Find some way to leave the planet, go live out your lives. I wish you all the best. Me? I'm going to make sure these damn monsters die for what they've done."

____ "You'll never make it out alive."

____ "Maybe I don't deserve to." Deadhawk ran off towards the colosseum to the North.


____ Five minutes later, Anti-Spawn broke the blind man's neck.

Someone really wants me dead, apparently.

It looks like Space Jawa is the one with the lowered vote threshold, so I'm going to say we're probably safe for more pressure on Calmnic.

Also, I'm going to bed, but Calm's been unusually quiet, and he's made a few statements that seem scummy when more carefully examined.

That's exactly what it is. And given the low vote threashold as it is, if you want to pressure me for reasons, tell me that you need me to spill rather than throwing votes on, because pressure voting is just going to kill me without giving me a chance to actually tell you anything.

Decent night to make up for a lousy day. If Af had followed his post restriction and Grinner had known his own alignment, maybe Adam would have died yesterday instead of them.

So we still have Desperado, Antispawn and Lock n Load. Deadhawk looks like an NPC. I'm hoping Wineskin and Inferno are too.

Gonna hold off on Calm for now. Putting him 1 away is begging for a mislynch if he's town and there's a mafia member not on this train already.

What I'm curious about, is the lack of a brood hit.

Does reaper RB + kill? That'd be a bit OP.

Alternatively, the other mafia may have blocked him. We don't know what LnL and AS do when they aren't killing.

Or possibly Desperado was blocked.

Me too. If I'm reading it right, then adam was killed by the Vig and Aran by the brood.

Where do we see Jawa with a lowered threshold? I believe it, just don't see it. If we postulate that adam indeed lowered the threshold and did not make the kill, there should be another portion of the write-up.
