Wow. The amount of people crying over the new rules changes is craaaaaaaaaazy.

The pushing damage charade though...literally everything about it is bad.

Wow, I just read all the rules change discussion after seeing a few posts on FBook. The logic used for “benching” and the desired results don’t seem too logical to me. Nor does anything Wizkids has done seemed to really cater to new players before.

I still think the most negatively impactful step Wizkids took was the drastic increase in volume and complexity of special powers and traits at the same time that resource dials (and other non-dial contained elements) came on board, making the learning curve very high, and the gameplay much slower. But hey, most of us on here barely play at all anymore, so I’m not sure the direction of the game anymore. I know at our shop we don’t see “new players” coming in to buy product, but maybe other places really are getting all these new players? Or maybe Wizkids is hearing up for a new player push?

I always think to myself how did all these Karen's go from rotary phones to cell phones, SMH. Without change you can't have progress. My 2 cents.

I don't usually make griddle or grill type recipes. And the batter was way thicker than any batter I've made for anything. But, you know...feta. Delicious.

Obviously topped with syrup, and also bacon and extra feta.

I don't know...some of these changes are well beyond the elimination of soaring, or the 2017 rules changes, etc. The text with the rules/powers updates is a pretty weird way to describe the changes also. There are some serious old school clixers showing a lot more anger than I've seen before...though the dials on the cards thing was fairly close.

I really liked the rules changes in 2015 and 2017. Thought they helped the game overall. These ones? meh. I don't play enough to care, but I keep plunking down a couple hundred bucks a set that should probably go elsewhere. I don't see these changes, by themselves, impacting the game positively by bringing in these mythical new players. Do you guys see something I don't here?

K but that's the thing about people my age in this era, at least in my experience. We just sit around on the internet like, "Should we be doing something? We're adults." I know it's sad. I blame the crappy condition of the world today.
