JLA Intro

Green Arrow looked at the photoof his friends. My, how times had changed since they had taken it after that first case with the Applexians that had brought them together 2 years ago. Now, the Leauge had outgrown it's cave hideout and was moving to a satellite headquarters above Metropolis. J'onn had left to form his own League (at UN insistence, who knew he was more well know that Supes in the Southern Hemishpere), Hawkman came, and then left. But he and others had stayed and even convinced the JSA to come full out of retirement. Maybe things were looking up for the world.

'Here are the reports." batman put the folder down. "Proof that some of our greastest enemies...are simply gone."

"What do you mean, gone?" asked Black Canary. "They aren't...?"

"I mean...gone, Dinah. Not here on Earth. Or anywhere in space, if you believe Green Lantern's sources, and I have no reason to doubt them." responded Batman. "Riddler Scarecrow..."

"Luthor, Bizarro, Toyman, Brainiac, Solomon Grundy..." said Superman.

"Cheetah and Giganta?" asked Wonder Woman.

"Sinestro." Green Lantern confirmed.

"Both Grood and Captain Cold." Flash shook his head.

"And Manta." Aquaman slammed his fist into his hand. "He has mananged to elude me..."

"And yet, we seem to have some unknown activity from within Lexcorp." continued Batman. "Like someone who has some idea of what to do, but not exactly how to go about it. I'll keep watching, to see what surfaces."

"Here's the report on the Avenger incident." said Batman, flopping down a folder to the combined might of the League. "Everything is there. The powers they exhibited, their words, possible motivations..."

"Bruce," said Wonder Woman. "We've been over this. They were duped. Zatanna herself confirmed the Spear of Desiny's involvement."

"At the beginning....yes." agreed Batman. "This is about after. With whoever claimed them and made them..." he snatched up the folder "agents of the Many-Angled Ones. Any clue about that?"


"I've heard snatches of things." said Aquaman. "Things in the darkest dark... I thought them only things to frighten gullible children."

"Enlighten us, Arthur." said Diana.

"Before anythingwas here on Earth, they were here. Great beings of Chaos, contemperaries of the Demons Three, I believe, if they are the same. They always promise eternal life-in twisted service to them." Aqauman visibly shuddered.

"The head said it only gained access to our realm because the way was weak between." said Batman. "We need to limit the access between worlds to stop the stress."

"How are we going to do that, Bats?" said Green Arrow.

"I have no idea." said Batman.

How about in science? Smaller beings are capable - due to air resistance, lightness, etc. - perform some amazing stunts like, basically, survive massive falls without any damage (go try dropping an ant off a building and see what happens). That and Ray has that whole compressed density/mass thing going when he desires it.

You could also justify LMD (i.e., Toughness) with the Sword of the Atom era: Ray toughened up when he started living in the wilderness and swinging a sword.

So Team Feat

The ultimate like Contingency plan. Both Nick and Cap can use. and well it would be comic accurate for them to use it.

Thoughts?

Ugh...well, I guess we didn't "outlaw" the power Feats as starters so can't really say anything against them now.

I think Blood Oath would be a good one for us Asgardians.

Which is why I was thinking L.M.D. on Ray or Ollie or Dinah to be "cheesy". Sure, it would be nice if everyone had build in, unOutwittable Toughness, but that's not really the point, is it?

I could see Contingency Plan for Fury, but to me Cap is more of the Inspiring Command type of Leadership. He is a good leader because he inspires others with his unshakable willpower, hence he brings that out in others, not because he always has a trick up his sleeve.

What would you say about Cyke?

I think CP works for Cap. He always plans ahead. That is making a Contingency in my book.

I went with Haymaker. Villains are always swinging hard and missing by a mile.

Okay, all the games are up. Now, I will help with the regular schedule as I've done that before. If anyone whant to submit an 8 game schedule where each team plays everyone else in their conference and Game 4 is outside of the conference (and doesn't have to be "grudge" or opposite"), then, please submit it.

I went with Force Field for Hal, Adam Strange and Reddy. Themey, but Outwittable as it is based of of Powers, unlike L.M.D., which for 2 pts. more, gives you UnOutwittable Toughness.

I don't see why we wouldn't keep the feat restrictions used by both the HCFL and FLE. We seem to use their rules until otherwise noted. I don't think every figure having protected is going to be fun times for anyone.

SO thats a no then? how do I have to come up with a Team Feat?
