Is it weird that online it is saying that a Lamb of God concert and something called Thursday Night at the Fights is happening at a place that feeds and shelters the homeless?

Not that weird. A lot of Lion's Clubs, Shriner's Temples, and the like are used for both charity and event venues. It's one of the ways they keep themselves running.

I just find it weird because most of these things usually happen at the Egan center. Granted Thursday Nights at the Fights usually has homeless people fighting in it to begin with...they get money and a free hospital stay out of it :-/
