We live in the country, surrounded by fields and a giant old barn sits behind us. Even worse, that barn is getting torn down by the farmer who still owns that land. I had to kill a possum today that probably evacuated from the barn. I figure there will be a couple more cats, a bunch of mice, possums, a raccoon or two, maybe a fox, and probably a chupacabra that will venture towards our house now.

On the bright side, it's too cold for scorpions!

I don't really want to name names, but a couple of them are LPC moms.

While I was at work the possum got hurt in a scrap with my dogs. It was in bad shape and I had to extract it from under some shrubs next to the house. It had to die quickly after the suffering it'd been through.

Plus I wanted to feed the Snowy Owls.

I wouldn't sweat it. With today being Norym's birthday, I'm sure this thread will be hopping!
