You know, if we can bring some of the old crew back on board, or we all post multiple times daily like we used to, we could get this sucker to 1,000 by New Year's Day!

Not trying to spam the forum or anything but I am happy to say that I found a 6 CD set from one of my favorite bands. The most interesting thing is that I can order it from Poland and get it shipped to me cheaper than Amazon but Ia m sure it will take longer to get to me.

I stumbled on the box set because it is cheaper to buy the 6 CD set than to buy 2 of the CDs I didn't have individually. I already have 1 CD from the box set so this is a no-brainer. So even without a brain I was able to see the great deals!

So I also collect Masterpiece series Transformers. I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of MP Hound who’s about to drop on Thursday.

What makes them masterpiece?

I have my original Soundwave with a number of cassettes and am perfectly happy ATM. Though I hate to detail what happened to my other transformers.

Premium engineering and paint. These are designed to replicate the cartoon appearance as accurately as possible in bot mode, while creating as realistic an alt mode as possible. The alts are usually officially licensed (just like the originals) and the bots are highly articulated with a nice load of accessories (weapons, alternate faces, random one-scene accessories, blast effects). Google “MP-44 Optimus Prime” and you’ll see what I mean. They go for a pretty penny too. They also make some for Beast Wars and the live action movies (though the latter are inferior imo).

I do collect the vintage figures as well.
