My fantasy football team finally pulled off their first win, knocking out the first place guy.

Yep. hot, humid summers for several months, and a harsh, cold winter. Somedays I run the heater in the car going to work, and the A/C for the trip home. Pretty much all of the Midwest seemed to be that way to me.

Carrying around AC units sure was easier about 20 years ago! This stuff is getting tougher nowadays.

I let my 8 yr old use one of my old smart phones (I left it linked to internet but no cell service) to set up his first fantasy football team this season. He really knows his stuff and follows the sports news, etc. A couple of my coworkers even ask him for advice on players. Anyway, I look at the kid's fantasy profile and he set up TWENTY SIX teams!! I was pretty pissed since he had permission for 2. He knew he was busted because he didn't want me to look at the phone when I told him to hand it to me so I could recharge it. No more unsupervised Yahoo sports for that kid.

In my pay league I am 3-1, with the top scoring team 2 weeks in a row. I have a loss so I am in 3rd place, but I only a few points behind the top team if he gets tagged with a loss. I'm like 50 points ahead of the #2 team, but he's managed to eke out wins every week, even when he scores very mediocre totals.

2....to 26. Well, that escalated quickly.

I mean, setting up 24 additional fantasy teams is certainly far from the worst thing he could've done. He could've been like me and drafted Johnathan Taylor with absolute confidence. I haven't won a single game yet. No matter how many points I score, the other person gets more. Very demoralizing.

I should have stayed on my couch last night. I helped a friend move. Technically, I helped a friend's girlfriend move from her apartment into his. She lived on the 3rd floor, and the truck was mostly loaded by the 3 of us before more help finally arrived. My body hates me today.

That was a bit of an overreaction I guess. Honest opinion? I'm really appreciating that like a third of the fired superstars are coming back. At this rate, my fingers are crossed that we'll see No Way Jose show up, at the very least for a Rumble surprise.
