Yes, check-in Friday, check-out Sunday. As I said in PM, hotel will hold bags until actual check-in time so you can go do your thing Friday. If anything, Friday would be the day I would go to the Con, as that's when most others are going too I believe. Alas, Chris is there on Saturday.

Depends on your interests. You might decide to skip the con altogether. I would suggest going to the website, seeing the programming, and checking out the list of guests. If it doesn't flip your lid, then so be it.

Me, I like to get stuff signed, do a little shopping, and check out all of the costume-wearing zaniness. I am debating whether to buy two one-day passes, since I will more than likely leave early on Sunday morning.

(Also, the gaming area is usually open to all without the need for a convention badge. Still exploring ideas on having our BYOG night in the gaming room....)

4-day weekend pass to Philly (includes Thursday) = $65.00

1-day Friday = $35.00

1-day Saturday = $45.00

I find it messed up that if I want to attend both Friday and Saturday I may as well for a 4-day pass that I am not gonna need. Prices have skyrocketed. Used to be that single-day tix were $25 a pop.
