I might be playing a game tomorrow and I want to go to get your opinion on my team
Earth man
Manchester black
Magog (172)
Is there a rhyme or reason to how this team is put together? These aren't a theme, and they add up to 366. SO is this a 400 point game?
Magog is a beast and pretty much single handedly got me 3rd place in a 32 person side event at GENCON last year. (HE eats Kryptonians for breakfast)
Also, are you using Earth Man because you expect to see a lot of cosmic figures? Or just so he can use his little special to get Psychic Blast or TK? Sun Boy saves you 20ish points for the same PB punch (and has Pulse Wave as well).
No rime or reason I just wanted a team for magog might add the gauntlet with power and space on him
Yes to the earth man question plus I don't have sun boy I have star boy the sun is a star right?
Well, then i say just go with it. If you use the gauntlet on Magog you have enough room for 4 gems. My opinion:
Soul Gem
Power Gem
Time Gem
Reality Gem
The Space Gem is the only other real viable gem for that +2 movement (and phasing) but I value the Soul, Time, and Reality gems all above that bonus. Power Gem is usually my choice because it gives Magog Ranged Combat Expert. Those extra 2 damage might not be a big deal top click with his powerset, but it can make all the difference mid-dial when he has 3 or even 2 damage. Maybe even help you get a KO which gives you the Soul Gem heal (if showing) and the extra action which is what makes Magog tick.
To me, it just gives you more options that having to run Magog right into the middle of the other team, not even giving his KC team ability a chance. Also just realized that if Earth Man is standing next to Magog and he has Power Gem showing, Earth Man can then also use RCE which again might be a better option depending on the situation.
I lost but it was close Morgan with the gauntlet is monster
That sucks. Too bad. You had a team ready to face her too. You actually made her choose either Combat Reflexes to block against magog OR ES/D to block against the other two. (Or a Magog ranged attack)
A lot of times when I used Morgan, it was a no brainer that she would have a certain one of those the whole game. (Usually ES/D)
I can't remember if we have precedent for this scenario, so I figured I pose it here to get us on the same page.
If you get an injury on a duo figure that is comprised of two owned figures, who is injured the next game? One of them? Both? Or are you just prevented from using the duo?

Isn't there a caveat that only 1 character per game gets injured?
Seems like I had that on my Ultimates team and had to pick which one I wanted to be injured.

For some reason I believe it is one of the figures is injured, but I have no evidence to point to nor do I recall how it is determined which is injured.

That scenario comes into play on a crit hit that had targeted multiple characters. So if Bullseye had a triple target crit hit, the opponent would choose one of the three to take the injury.
Otherwise, yes you very well could have multiple injuries from a single game.

Yeah, i'd say that it'd be the same as multitarget injuries.
