Said poster is now on my ignore list on two different sites after he went all "rage cage Hulk" on me when I apologized for my part in getting a thread closed.

It seems I was correct in my supposition that you were deliberately emulating his style, although you probably weren't aware of all the details surrounding our lovely exchanges.

When I am out to annoy details are immaterial.

I suppose that option remains on the table.
I make a distinction between friendly banter and harassment. Your posts usually seem to be the former, which I'm fine with. Trying to drag in points of contention from an unrelated thread just for the purpose of antagonizing someone is the latter, which is why I was less than cordial in response to someone doing that.

But it truly is amazing how much my realms experience has improved recently. I should use that button more often.

I have 67 people on ignore. I think most of them no longer post for one reason or another.

And staying the hell out of GD most of the time helps my Realms experience as well.

There was an attack wing thread about the release of the Star Wars Armada game.
I was keenly interested in this thread.
Vlad proceeded to engage a poster in one of his pet heroclix arguments.
Thread gets closed.
This annoyed me greatly.
Vlad posts in another forum "sorry about getting the Armada thread closed".
I express displeasure at his insistence on engaging in an argument that was off-topic in the Armada thread. (I expressed my displeasure profanely, in the accepted style of the forum we were using.)
Vlad insists on trying to convince me that I am arguing the opposing side of whatever his Heroclix argument was, ignoring my repeated statements that I was uninterested in that, and was only chapped over the closure of the Armada thread.
Vlad gets extremely offended and rends his e-garments in indignation.

I will cop to being harsh ( I dunno if it was Hulk-harsh), and even to "trolling" him. But I say if Vlad is going to continue to roll with his current internet persona he should grow a thicker skin.



Anyhoo, I'll say no more on the subject, nor razz Vlad any further.

I will not put Vlad on ignore as I am not a milquetoast.

My big honking trades that included 5 chases and several valuable SRs have concluded, and today I find one stinking casualty...
R Ganthet from WoL was stuck in a plastic single booster pack with WL Kyle Rayner, and Ganthy (we are on an informal basis ever since that time on Orando with the Princesses) was snapped off at the little blue flying effect thingie.

Now I am not sure what to do, as in the grand scheme of things it is not worth much, but I'm annoyed.

I have found a hidden gem on the interwebs.

I think CL should run it and then lose the results. That's how they do it in other venues!
