I was wondering if it was a passive effect, anybody that targeted a certain person got it. That wouldn't fit with Afrcngy though, assuming he was telling the truth, since he was mod-blocked the night he got the reduced vote.

I'm not going to write it off as impossible, but based on my own experience I'm doubting that's the answer for it.

Why would it be obvious that you failed targeting adam?

That's a possibility I hadn't considered, but I don't think that's the case.

Night 1: Targeted MSU. He targeted TBB and Aranatta.
Night 2: Targeted Gfish. He targeted Aranatta.
Night 3: Targeted JoH. He targeted Linkor.
Night 4: Missed my action.
Night 5: Targeted Adam. Action was Failed.

I think it's obvious because he was killed. I assume that's why my action failed at least.

Nope, you can definitely track dying people. Assuming they weren't blocked, they often take their action prior to dying.

If you failed, it has to do with you specifically.

Or that Adam failed, at least that's how some mods do it. If your target fails, you fail.

Curious that Calmnic tracked MSU targeting someone who died night 1 and then tracked gfish who died night 2. JoH, does his info jive with your night 3.

I should also note that my power has a gimmick. If I can correctly guess the target of my target I will instead reverse track them.

I was only able to do this night 1 while tracking MSU and got these results.

No. I only guessed TBB. I'm guessing I only needed to guess MSU's initial target for the power to work.

Wait, you stated Day 2 that you could confidently state that CapT was not lying about his power. How did you do that if you didn't target him?
