Story:
Watching her teammates slowly drain the life force of their opponents was gratifying to watch. Mercy felt this strange, ecstatic feeling rise in her, and she realized what it was.
Team spirit.
"Damn I love all of you!" she exclaims, in a rare moment of letting go.
Gigawatt turns to her. It obviously knew not what the word "love" was.
"Um, let's just keep it rolling." she hastily added.

Dampener's eyes were glazed over with a dull satisfaction of being rooted to an enemy. A sickeningly stupid smile drooped off the villian's face. However, Vladimir was too displaced with Sebastion's twisted treatment of time to care about the villian's triumph. Anger boiled within Vlad as his thoughts contiued to drift to Sebastion's powers.

A golden aura began to pulse around Vladimir as his anger intensified. The magician was too weak to cast another spell, but his body was able to generate enough magical force to harm Dampener. The golden aura dispersed through out the close proximinty, although Dampener hardly seemed phased by it.

Story: Dampener glared down at Vladmir.

"Bad man hurt me!"

Before he could react, Dampener picked up his heavy hand, forming a heavy fist and bringing it down on Vladmir's head before reverting to his previous grip and pinning him down again.

"Bad man stay still."

Twilight licked her lips in anticipation.

"Let's see if we can reaffirm that fear."

As the shadows closed in, Sean lept backward, not allowing them to grab him as they had with Heru. Dancing back and forth, the shadows had nothing to grab onto. Sean obviously was thinking quite highly of himself, when there was a sudden pain in his arm. As he glanced toward where it had come from, he saw nothing. He heard laughter, however.

Twilight tries to hit the Hypersonic threat, AKA Sean, in close combat. 8 AV vs 16 DV. Needs 8, rolls 6.

No. You have to roll break away. You need a 6 to get free of him. Your best bet is just to attack him for now. Using Mercy's Enhancement, you can damage him.

story: Michael pauses to look for new targets. That one behind the crate is too hard to hit (if only he knew). He sees a large dumb looking man getting ready to lay down on vladimir, but vlad is in the way of a good shot. Hrm. so many choices.

Story: Sebastion finishes up with Kane and turns to the team he left behind for a moment. He sees Dampener bring his fist down upon Vladimir, causing some damage to the mage. "VLADIMIR!" Sebastion cried in a desperate attempt to undo the damage caused by the villain. Fearing for his teamate's safety, Sebastion allows his anger and concern to overcome for a brief moment. His eyes darken and he lets out a slight howl. Chains spew forth from Sebastion's back and wrap around Dampener to hold the villain in place. The chains begin to squeeze the life out of Dampener, exhausting him. Sebastion begins to cough up some blood and what appears to be small cog wheels. "All who are able to... TAKE HIM DOWN..." His voice carries a ferocity that is only doubled by the return of the strange reverb heard before. Sebastion's voice weakening to below his normal decible, he asks again "Please... I can't keep this up..." The chains begin to loosen around Dampener, slowly withdrawing back into Sebastion...

Actually, that recap is pretty off...

Story: One of Kane's eyes fluttered open, and he watched as Sebastion ensnare Dampener.

'Kid's got some talent...'

Kane's other eye opened, and he rose to his feet.

"You did good, kid. I just needed a little extra time to feel better, and... assistance is appreciated."

Despite the bruises and cuts on his body, Greyfeather stretched, then acted as though dodging attacks that weren't coming at him, obviously getting back into a prepared state for combat.

"So, you ready to kick some tail? I don't see any extra thugs on the..."

Then Kane noticed the Crusher, collapsed with a forklift in his hands, then rubbed a bruise on his right shoulder.

"Alright, so maybe one."

'Don't worry... I won't fail you... I'll never fail you... never.'

Kane is unstunned, and on his last click. His automatic regeneration kicks in, and he rolls a 5. He still has 2 clicks of damage and regen, so he uses his action to regenerate. He rolls a 6. While more than needed, it still takes him to green line.

Story: With the ninja now hidden away in the dark corner, no other target presented itself to Heru, or rather, no target was readily apparent.

A wavering form hid to his left just inside the room. It flickered almost as if was not quite solid.

The one who damaged me remains, time to show her who is the boss around here.

Heru stretches back and launches a full body slam straight into Twilight. Twilight seems to twist in the air evading the majority of the attack, but a trailing kick just manages to connect with her midsection.

Action: Heru attacks Twilight 10 AV versus a 15 DV, needs a 5 or better. Rolls 5 (3,2) just enough. Deals 3 damage subtract one for Toughness.
