The lantern showed up in the most recent JLA. It brought Tangent Atom and Flash over, switching them with two other people. Atom got sent back, but Flash is still her. I'm sure we will see a follow up.
This is what I get for not reading any JLA recently... course, the shop here doesn't carry the regular JLA anymore, only "classified".
New Superman Tangent 12 issue maxi? is going to be released in Mar of 2008. Sign up now if you are interested in those alternate reality versions of GL, Flash, etc.
As far as the colored rings go it will be interesting to see where that storyline goes. I am a huge GL fan but would hate to see 7 new comics I would have to keep up with to keep up with the new power rings. I mean there are two GL titles to try and keep up with now.

I have to agree with Guy. When Kyle told him what the Tangent Flash looked like, Guy said "I like it better already" or some such. I look at that pic of her now and think, "Yep, I do like that myself." I wonder if New Earth Superman will be mind-controlled again. He gets mind-controlled more often then Red Tornado gets blown-up. Since Tangent Supes can do mind control, it sounds reasonable.
I realized after reading GL: Sinestro Corp Secret Files and Origins who the best candidate for and orange ring would be.
Lobo.
I mean, come on. He would be perfect.
He was mentioned in the issue to be pissed with one of the Sinestro Corp. The Sinestro guy who eats Space Dolphins.
And Lobo still has the Emerald Eye. Come to think of it, didn't he kill the top space Dolphin with it near the end of 52? It was the one thing she thought that could kill her, which is why she wanted. When she said it could be the one thing that could kill her, Lobo killed her with it, or so I thought.

Where did you read this discussion between Guy and Kyle at?
Has anyone else noticed that in this new "rainbow coalition", all the cool colors (blue, green, violet) represent positive emotions, and all the warm colors (red, yellow, orange) represent negative emotions?
I don't know where that's going, but it's something I noticed.

I believe it was in the Ion mini-series. Kyle also would meet Captain Atom in the Bleed. The Tangent GL sent the two boys (who found the Lantern during the Infinite Crisis) into the bleed. Kyle went and got them, and with Captain Atom's help, got out of there and got the kids home. This was also shortly before Kyle's Mom died.

Someone mentioned that before. And you forgot "Black" rings.

it's like the cool colors are of life, and the warm colors are of death. i mean, the evil colors are the color composition of fire, and is it safe to assume that the cool colors are of ice? or they are like the way the Jedi and Sith lightsaber colors are (red, yellow, orange, red=Sith, blue, green, indigo, violet=Jedi)...
Except that black is not a color; rather, it is the absence of color.
It's a lack of color, except to printers who see it otherwise. Believe me, I was stuck in the middle of an argument once between two of my brothers, one a printer and one a self-centered know-it-all egotistical sort of guy. Black is a color for printers. In form, there are two blacks. One, a color, the other, an absence of color. True Black is an absence of color. Took several hours of my time I will never get back.
Now, the bro who is a printer is out of work and the other one is in jail for crimes against humanity. And no, I'm not joking.
my only problems are: leaving sodam yat with lead in his blood when dr. natu(as i like to call her) could easily filter his blood with her ring; this whole spectrum of colors, i'm like love/hate on this, not looking forward to DC zombies but it looks certain at this point; cyborg supes, just let the poor man die allready.

So if black, the absence of all color, equals death, which is devoid of all emotion, then white, which contains all colors, would equal life, which contains all emotions.
(Is anyone else getting a hippy-dippy vibe from all this? It sounds like a Jefferson Airplane concept album from 1968; eight songs each named after a color and dealing with a particular emotion.)

Stop thinking about it or you'll start telling people how it all reminds you of your time in `Nam which will begin a story. Like "This reminds me of that time in `Nam when I pinned down near a hot LZ and this albino chick came out of the foilage and started doing a strip tease to draw the attention of the VC soldiers...".
Really, it's just not a pretty happenstance for you or those around you.
