Well maybe I'll finally get to play my Starro

I'll be bummed out if the final week turns into battle of the Colossals. It'd be kind of a letdown if the penultimate battle of DC's Crisis was a showdown between two oldschool Galacti. Somethin' ain't right there.

LOL I am bringing 2 armies to the last week and if I see a Starro, then I am pulling out the Big G.

The problems with Colossals as I see it.

"Wait, let me check the rulebook for (insert Colossal here)...okay, Multi-Attack, so I do this...but no, -1 to Damage, okay...let's see..."

Eh, why even bother? Sure, I love the 600 pointers, but leave those dust-collectors at home...collecting dust.

I have all of the Colossals, but I *so don't* want to bring one just to win the top prize.

I think that going, rolling the dice four times and winning every game without much effort is a loose definition of "playing".

Wonder what the top prize is hmmm

My guess would be "Crisis on Infinite Earths" event dial.

Disappointed about the colossals. To me those figures have no place in a sanctioned event, unless the point of the event is to field those figures, and then you might as well play at 1200 minimum.

While I appreciate the "feel" of playing only DC figs, I'm mildly disappointed there. I'm more of a Marvel fan. I could certainly field a competitive DC team, and I'd probably have fun, but it's not my first choice.

I'm thrilled that there are 400, 500, and 600 point events.

And I'm still missing the days when I could just show up with a team of people that I built because I thought they'd be fun to play. Thankfully, online play still offers me that.

I like it all, except the DC-only part. But I'll admit I'm bias against such things, being a Marvel guy with only about 10 DC figures who'd kind of like to trade away most of them.
