I had to research mine, I had no idea-- but after blowing the first one thinking I knew it cold, I would have researched to confirm regardless.

Knew the last one 'cause I read the book not too long ago.

I froze for a second on this one, especially when Batfink said it was easy. That, and I wanted the Phantom of the Opera question.

Anyway, I did check my answer, but since Superboy can't see through lead (and why not???), I guessed that Ultra-boy can.

I'm sure Rokk or you other Legion fans would have much more eloquently than I.

I researched the answers to confirm my guesses so far.

I have had to dig for each of my answers. The only ones I have known I have not been asked.

Curtain was Poirot's last case.

I had to research. Found the novella online, and actually read the account of the characters' deaths (which happens off-screen).

Answer: Holmes shot the initials V.R. into his wall (standing for "Victoria Regina" as his demonstration of patriotism).

Everyone got in their answers pretty quickly, but I'll still wait for the Monday deadline before confirming any answers as right or wrong. If anyone has any second thoughts prior to then, you still have time to change your answer.

I'm a tad early with the results, but I'm gonna be away from my desk for much of the rest of the afternoon. Besides, you all got the correct answers yet again. Now I'm glad my book is still scheduled for a November release--it may very well take that long to whittle you all down to a single winner.
