A week ago I would've said this was my favorite of our current games. I thought it was challenging, random & fun. Now it has all those elements but seems really one sided. I imagine that will change.

"And I'd love to oblige. But my luck with that particular skrull has been less than stellar."

"Did you say 'luck'?" asks the Scarlet Witch. She releases her mutant power and guarantees something to happen. "Try again."

"With pleasure," Agent Brand says and with one single blast her gun lets loose a bullet that grazes the Skrull Commando's temple and he falls.

Sorry I haven't been able to get to these much in the last few days. I'll try to catch up a bit now.

Both Agent Brand and Sgt. Fury pull back their attacks on Annihilus to avoid hitting their ally. Fury takes a backlash hit in the process.

"Sgt. Fury? Are you ok?" Brand asks.

"All in the line of duty, kid," he says, wincing at the pain.

"Yes, come to me, Wasp," Ms. Marvel said. "At a distance, you're small enough to evade my attacks. Up close, I'm fast enough to catch you!" She reached out swiftly and plucked the Wasp out of the air. Jan let out a sting, stunning Ms. Marvel a bit before she squeezed the breath out of the Avenger.

"Your much vaunted armor will not help you against my power!" Raksor said, cranking up the power on his weapon as high as it would go and then some. The kickback from the blaster knocked the Skrull for a loop, but it did what he wanted. Iron Man dropped inert from the air.

"Iron Man and Wasp are down," Nick Fury said.

"Not quite," Iron Man's voice came through Fury's earpiece. "I'm immobilized for a bit, but I just need a few minutes to reboot, then I should be okay."
