(my strategy the entire match was to tie you up and slow you down, the odds of my actually defeating you while spread out like that were quite poor.)

Thank you very much for playing the villains here, Sable. You responded promptly and reliably. Yeah, there wasn't much you could have done differently in light of the scenario rules.

Without Vision and his phasing, i would have had no chance. One example of my playing style: because i don't look ahead at the dials, i was watching and waiting for Black Panther to get Leap/Climb...!...

Point calculations to come... I'm wondering whether there are any points connected with the recovered captives -- or penalties for failing to get everybody out...

Why do you think I said that you had to include Vision in your squad? And it fit story wise as well.

You get points for the released prisoners, but not for the ones that you have captive. I think it was 1 TXP for each- it should be somewhere in the first post.

Epilogue

The Wasp dodged as well as she could. The Skrulls clearly did not have it easy, trying to hit such a tiny target, but the sheer number of assailants meant that the Wasp soon suffered a hard shot. Other Skrull guards, soldiers, and the gigantic warrior attacked the Avengers, too, but Hawkeye and Moon Knight managed to evade their attacks.

The huge Skrull blocking the doorway had apparently over-extended itself trying to attack Moon Knight, so Ant-Man flitted past the formidable alien. It was not an easy decision to leave the Black Panther and the Scarlet Witch in that room with that beast. Moon Knight quickly used his impressive athletic skills to leap past the same fearsome warrior.

In the prison corridor, the Wasp turned to Ant-Man. She was bleeding slightly and began, "Hank…"

Ant-Man nodded knowingly and leapt to Hawkeye's side. "Hawk," he said, "there are too many of them. We weren't fast enough." Skrull reinforcements were certainly already on their way.

Hawkeye hardly registered Ant-Man. He was furious and ready to return the Skrulls' attacks. Ant-Man resorted to his ace: "Maybe that android has rescued Bobbi." Hawkeye hesitated. Ant-Man insisted, "Clint, we have to go – now!" With a quick glance at Tigra's unconscious form on the floor, Hawkeye gave Ant-Man a meaningful glance and a curt nod.

With the exclamations of the Skrulls behind them, Moon Knight, Ant-Man, Wasp, and Hawkeye retreated back down the long corridor as quickly as they could. Mantis and the synthezoid were anxiously waiting for them. Hawkeye almost smiled when he saw that Mantis had Mockingbird with her.

"Alacrity is of the essence," the android said. He gathered up as many of the unconscious rescued Avengers as he could.

"He's right," announced Ant-Man. "We regroup for now, but we're not giving up on our friends." The Avengers escaped into the night, forced to leave behind three of their own…
