You have an active kill power and a passive PGO power.
So the only way you can really die is by lynch?
...that sounds too stacked for a "survivor." Now, if a serial killer needed any gimmicks to swing things in his favor, what you've got sounds about par for the course.
But it's optional. I decided to tell the town that I have a vig power (which I do), to show that I can be useful to the town.
I will never use it, if that's what y'all want. I didnt' use it last night either.
Think of it this way--I'm also a non-mafia vote that the mafia can't get rid of. Why vote me off? The town needs all the voting help they can get, in most games.
I'll take it one step further--if I were a serial killer, dbauers would be dead right now because I would have targeted him last night.
Why would I target no one on night 1 if I were a PGO serial killer? I could kill pretty much with impunity on night 1. I chose not to, because (honestly) I figured it'd be easier for me to win as a neutral if I help the town win. Mafia victories are more rare. I'm just playing the odds.
If you can see how the evidence shows I'm not a SK (and am, therefore, a PGO like I say I am), then there really is no reason for a townie to vote for me--plain and simple.
I'd wager that Sandor will be one of the votes against me, so at least if you decide to lynch me you can narrow down the list of suspects. It just makes no sense to me for the town to waste a day phase voting off a helpful neutral instead of ferreting out a mafioso.
unless of course the mafia uses you to get 2 kills each night instead of just one. which they will. if for whatever reason the guy who caught sandor can't come forward, i definately think we should take you out today. if it is hard to get the votes to lynch you, i assume that is because the mafia wants to keep you around so they can do exactly what i think they will do.
I'll take it one step further--if I were a serial killer, dbauers would be dead right now because I would have targeted him last night.
That's what we call a logical fallacy (which by definition makes it difficult to argue against, but here goes). Your argument relies upon you not having targeted anyone last night.
1) You have a kill power. Why would you say you would have targeted dbauers? It would have been unprovoked at that time. What is the point in saying that now, then? He has revealed himself as my rightful heir.
2) You may have targeted either Ignatz_Mouse or EmperorNorton for a kill while the other targeted you, triggering your PGO power.
Lets put it this way. The Mountain (mbauers) would never ever be able to win with the Starks, or their allies. It's true that Gregor only gives a #### about himself, but that is a double edged sword. He just likes killing, and never would the Starks or their allies form up with him.
i think he tried to kill Tyrion, but Tyrion is resistant to night kills because of his size.
I've seen that power before, Mbauers. Neutral character that can either kill or be a PGO. Where have I seen that before? Oh yes. Wesker and the Punisher. Serial killers in Resident Evil and the original hcrealms mafia respectively.
But I don't think you're the serial killer. I think you're mafia. Mafia PGOs aren't unheard of. I was one in BYOC and had a teammate that was a PGO in What Else?
I realize you can't help your character being a jerk in the book. But that doesn't change the fact that 90% of murdering jerks in the source material are still scum in the mafia games that go with them.
Plus your character worked for the bad guys in the book and you got copped evil. Once you admited to being the Mountain (possibly even before that), you were as good as lynched if you ask me.
So, in the book, you were Tywin's minion, serving him in war and out of it in nasty, brutish ways. Also, your father, your sister, and both your wives died under "mysterious circumstances". Not sure that I really trust that you're just an innocent survivor who can PGO and/or vig.
But I'm not hasty. I can hold off on the voting for a bit for a better target and/or more argument. Hopefully the person that stopped the nightkill actually found someone. I should be on in the afternoon either way.
That which is not dead may eternal lie,
And in strange aeons, even death may die.
I gotta stop signing up for games where I don't know the content...
I know the feeling, which is why I am waiting to cast a vote. Still not sure that it's a great idea to lynch the PGO, though - unless and until there is a sure indication that a guided misdirector exists in the mafia. This early in the game, we need more info for this kind of move. But if we lynch the PGO, so be it.

And Madmartigan in my Willow game was basically the same thing and he was town (at first he roleblocked instead of PGOing, but a game trigger changed him to a true PGO).
As far as evidence goes--I haven't played as many games as you and can't come up with all the examples you have, but I'm only concerned about this game, and I'm neutral.
If you look back before the writeup, I flat out told everyone I'm not a Lannister or a baratheon. I was assuming the lannisters are the mafia, and I'm NOT one of them. I dont' want to quote from my PM, but I'm assuming other townies were able to figure out that the lannisters were mafia based on their roles.
And get_1--allow me to clarify: If I were a serial killer, I would have targeted dbauers because I correctly figured out he was a Stark on day 1 (as I posted on the thread), he's a good player, and he has content knowledge. Trust me, if I were a serial killer, and had used my active kill power, dbau would be dead.
And one more thing @ JoH--I will flat out 100% guarantee that greywind did NOT cop me as evil. He flavor copped me as someone he doesn't like/trust, whatever, but he most certainly did NOT cop me as evil or mafia because I'm neutral. I hope dbau will verify this, but seeing as he's the one leading the lynch, I'm probably out of luck.
Since the lannisters are A-holes and the starks are "good guys", some people are quick to forget that the Starks are just as prejudiced against Lannisters as the lannisters are prejudiced against the Starks (*ahem* falsely arresting Tyrion). I'm a lannister bannerman, so dbau assumes I'm his enemy.
And speaking of--why would Tyrion lannister (the short guy) target me if I were in the mafia with him
I'm a neutral PGO who can be extremely valuable to the town. Don't target me, and I won't target anyone unless the town tells me first. It's not like I'm going to get misdirected or anything.
I have put a link to the Tower of the Hand web-site at the bottom of the first post. This will let you look up the different character names that are being tossed around.
