Gambit gave her a click of life with the X-Men TA.
Oh, hey, yeah. It was after his "comment" line, so I missed it.

TPK=Total Party Kill. I thought all geeks knew that. (Although, I guess I only learned it maybe a year ago.) Also, I meant to say "is it straight victory points." Mainly what I was wondering was whether we should be so focused on killing Queenie or whether we should just try to take out the rest of the X-Brood. I think, what with DV's being what they are, it would probably be a lot easier for us to beat the little broodlings into submission than cracking the queen's mighty carapace.
Not sure whether it's kinda taboo to discuss objective victory conditions in the RPSC, but we're definitely at a pivotal point in the game right now, so which direction we go in is gonna make a serious difference.
Also, I know that take-backs are frowned upon, but since this is a team game, can you hold off on taking your next turn while I confer with my partner? I'm a teeny bit surprised by his move (or lack thereof) for this turn.

Winning is really a subjective term in the RPSC, especially in games where there is no specific scenario objectives like this one. In one sense, a true win is when you manage to defeat all of your opponents without losing any yourself- therefore you can play the next game with no injuries.
But this is role-playing, so a win can be many things. A win might be simply surviving to fight another day. It might be taking down the head bad guy. Or it might be rescuing your team mates, even though the head bad guy gets away.
What do you think should be considered a win in this circumstance?

Oh and choon can have a turn still, I don't mind. I think take-backs are okay as long as no one else has had a turn yet.
I think he might already be gone. I'm not sure what exactly constitutes "Friday" in his time zone. I'll try to come back in a few hours and figure out what course I want to take for the UXM, turn 7.
Yeah, I figured that winning in the RPSC would generally be subjective. I guess it really just comes down to whether we should go after the Queen or just try to clean up the others. I think if we got a TPK sans Queen, that would probably be worthy of a victory, even if the Brood might still come back to haunt us later on.

His time zone is close to mine, which means his friday night would be your saturday morning.

That was exactly what I was thinking. Most of the time there are different 'levels' of victory. If you manage to KO all or most of the X-men but not the Queen then yeah, I'd say that's a victory of sorts....but likely the Brood will come back again at some point.

That's 5 IAP for a KO, right? (Don't feel like going back to the rules thread.)
You get 1 IAP for each click of damage done (even past KO), plus an additional 2 IAP for KOing a figure. So Collossus should have got 4 IAP for that attack, not 5.

1: Tessa will attack Storm. 8 vs 16. Needs an 8. Rolls a 9 (4+5). I'll use Blades/Claws/Fangs! Roll is a 6! Due to the special nature of it, Storm takes 4 clicks. Tessa takes a push click.
2: Psylocke will also push to attack Nightcrawler. AV of 8vs. DV of 16. Needs an 8. Rolls a 10 (5+5). I'll use BCF again. Roll is a 5. Kurt's Super Senses roll is a 2. That's 4 clicks to Kurt and the KO. Psylocke takes a push click.
Free: Psylocke Perplexes the Queen's range up to 7 and uses her SHIELD TA to increase her range one more up to 8.
3: The Queen attacks Polaris. AV of 10 vs DV of 15 +2. Needs a 7, Rolls a 7 (1+6). Hit for 3 damage.
4: Jean will move to L6.
5: Havok moves to M10.
- Tessa will use PC on any successfull attack or break away roll she can see.
