I think in celebration of the anniversary it should be a 75 figure set
Agreed...but can the market/fans handle that?

In all fairness Marvel would need to actually be 70 years old for this to be a reality IMO.
Why? It's perfectly in line with how Marvel reset a # of their titles to issue #600 awhile back.
Make up a #/logo & claim it's true. Doesn't matter if your off by a few issues (IIRC Hulk fell a bit short of that count no matter how you counted), or in this case years. Right?
really digging the DC throught ages idea for the DC75 set (and the idea the set be 75 figs) as long as we dont get six different versions of superman, batman, wonder woman and aquaman. i really hope they include some cheesy 70's characters in the set (wonder twins i'm looking at you).
goldpony's opinion is obviously something that we should take seriously-hail_eris
Okay. I'm sorry. I did gripe a little about the lack of Marvel love here, but honestly, I don't really count Watchmen as DC, per se. Its not really a 'core' DC Universe set and, in fact, I am looking forward to it.
But knowing that I get a Spider-Man based set of Heroclix makes it all worthwhile.
Gripe retracted.
May all your hits be crits!
