Dan Slott had Eternity dub Pym the 'Scientist Supreme' in Mighty Avengers.
It's worth noting however that Eternity noted that Stark and Reed are both smarter than Pym, but that their roles are different (Reed is an Explorer, and Stark is an Inventor). Might have been another one mentioned too.
Still, Pym has to be above Cho for that reason alone. He is the master of the science of the impossible. All I was wondering was how anyone could leave him off their list when the Marvel U. iteslf considers him the bees knees.
ULTRA-HUMANITE of the SSOSV Clan!

That wasn't really Eternity, that was a skrull imposter.
I don't follow Pym, but is Scientist Supreme along the same lines as Sorcerer Supreme? Because the Sorcerer Supreme isn't necessarily the most powerful mystic.
And as for the 7 dumbest people, are we counting special cases (Like Savage Hulk) or are we just looking for straight up dummies (like Rhino or Wrecker)? It's a really tough thing to measure.
Yeah, but not having any interest in philosophy probably wouldn't be taken into account. Fixer can invent on the fly faster than anyone, which has got to count for something. I think his main problem is a lack of interest. Unless someone starts offering him a job, he's pretty content to hang around his room inventing new ways to watch pornography.
He would probably totally slip under the radar with this list.

What I meant by that is that I believe he has a power similar to Forge, in that he can invent anything he can think up.
Now, unlike Forge he is actually technically savy on an almost Stark like level. In terms of raw inventiveness I'd peg him around a Stark/Doom/Reed, but some of that I thought was due to his 'power'.

He's so bad, he mak'a me mad
Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad
He's a real cad, Un-fun Dad"

Fixed for ya. :knockedou

I didn't think Fixer had a power per se. Isn't he just especially gifted at technology? So he's like Forge, but it's not a mutant power.
Christ did not come to condemn the world, but to save it.

That's it indeed. I believe he built a car in his parents' garage when he was four. P. Norbert Ebersol (I'd call myself the Fixer too, with a name like that) is limited only by his short attention span and lack of motivation. If you show him something that can't be done, he can get you a workaround. He's actually similar to many of the portrayals of Hank Pym, except the part where he's way more interesting.
I blog. God help me, I'm one of those people now.
. . . considering that he's missing both the spoon and the milk from his bowl of psycho nuts . . . -Techno, in Thunderbolts, regarding Graviton

And, since someone asked, here's my list of 7 dumbest:
Absorbing Man
pre-Annihilation Drax the Destroyer
Man-Thing
Rhino
Shape (Squadron Supreme)
Vermin
Joe Quesada
Didn't add Hulk for the "trigonometry vision" cited above. Didn't cite the Lizard because it's been demonstrated he has natural cunning (and didn't include Wendigo for the same reason), and occasional flashes of Curt Connors. Didn't cite the Glob because I have none of his appearances, I believe he's just a Man-Thing clone though.

You might be right, I just remember reading something somewhere that alluded to it. Although it could just be my misinterpretation of it.
Regardless, he invents gadgets and understands tech like a Reed Richard or Tony Stark would. I don't think he's smarter than them per-se, but he's definitely one of Marvel's best 'inventors'.

There was also Preek from the Super-skrull Annihilation mini. Basically idiotic to the point people had to tell it what to do, genetically bred that way.

Just those two - the big thing was that Pym's capable of turning "science into magic". While Reed is the smartest when it comes to just having pure knowledge and how to use it and Tony is "The Engineer", Pym is the one who crosses the boundaries of what science can do. If he decides he wants to make something happen with science, he finds a way even if it "goes against the laws of reality" or such.
(Even before he got the title - and, yes, Loki tried screwing with Pym by saying it was him and not Eternity but evidence points to that just being Loki lying to try and save himself - Pym was shown to be smarter than Amadeus. I think he even backtalked Amadeus about the stupidity of Cho's bragging about being "7th Smartest Person".)
Frankly, the guy gets far too little credit. Heck, just being in control of arthropodic life forms is one of the scariest darn powers out there when you figure that's almost 99% of the lifeforms on Earth!
Heck, just for a fun...random insect weirdness:

It wasn't them who came up with the list but the Excello Soap Company, for all intents.
