I dislike remakes on principal. Pretty much across the board.
With that in mind, here's my take:
Firestorm: -1 for being a remake. +1 for being a guy we haven't seen remade in many, many years. +1 for being a guy I only ever had the E of.
Deadman: -2 for being a remake of a guy we have in Modern still. +1 for being [potentially] a fairly dramatically different take on a character. +2 for having a trench coat.
Aquaman: -2 for being a remake of a guy we have in Modern still. +1 for being, finally, a definitive version of the 'classic' look. +6 for riding a tentacle.
Osirus: +1 for being a new character. +2 for being a Marvel Family character. -1 for no lightning bolts.
Hawkgirl: -1 for being a remake. -1 for not wearing proper safety equipment. +2 for being quite a bird.
Captain Boomerang: -1 for being a remake. +2 for being a remake of a guy I didn't have in the first place. [Unless that is Digger, in which case it's -2 for being a remake of a guy available in Modern, but +3 for looking like he could pass as the other Captain Boomerang.]
Martian Manhunter: -1 for being a remake. -4 for being a guy we just got in the last set. +0.5 for being half of a Black Lantern.
+2 for each side of the map, and +6 for each impressive sculpt.
Final tally: 13.5. Is that a good score? I dunno.
All in all, I'll grab it up if the price is right, but I'm an addict, so there ya go.
Looking epic. I just wish we knew what significance these characters have in relevance to the Brightest Day story. It's been 3 issues and still nothing but humming & hawing. I hope they have more relevance than the deputy lanterns which lasted all of 1 battle (in some cases even less than that).
On the 'bright side' we've recieved an abnormal number of Martian Manhunter figs lately. Is it finally time to make a Martian team?
i 've been having fun playing bl martian manhunter with a bunch of white martians, our judge lets me use martian as a keyword, goodtimes...

It is Digger...And he somehow became a Slimmer and Sexier Version of Himself after being resurrected.
I like your formula...thougH I felt the first Digger was a pile of "meh". So I'm hoping for something awesome with the new one

I am so excited about Hawkgirl. Unleashed was a long time ago (the Icons Starter was pretty meh) - so long in fact I've been using LE Carter Hall from Origin as my Hawkgirl.
Aquaman I'm very pleased with since I'm still waiting for that piece that feels like "Aquaman".
Firestorm has potential.
Osiris is meh just due to the power set. He doesn't bring much to my teams unless I ever want to run Black Adam... not likely.
Captain Boomerang could be really cool. They didn't do a good job on the JL Digger so they have a new chance to get him right (I don't have hope on the dial, I'll admit).
Deadman is... Deadman. I'm reading Brightest Day and I haven't seen him do much. SP: When Deadman attacks someone, after the resolution of an attack remove him from the game?
Martian Manhunter - fan of the character, but I really like the RE and LE of the Origin piece AND I like the BatB version. In hardcore games that require only printed keywords, though, there is a need for a new figure as WK messed up by giving him only 1 keyword - and not even his main one.
Map - Prior to the BN Map I'd be jumping up and down. Now it seems the map, being two-sided, has two chances to be messed up. C'mon WK, get your act together...
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
Ok, if MM reverts to his Black Lantern form somewhere in his dial that'll be pretty neat. Looks good. On the downside, why are we getting Deadman (whom we already have in Modern) and not Hawkman (who we don't)?
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I really don't have a problem with "remakes," especially if they haven't been made in the Modern Age. I'll give you Deadman, Martian, and Captain Boomerang, but the rest? Definitely needed.

I'd think Hawkman would be a lock for DC 75th. And Hawkman does have representation, even if it's as a Duo Figure.

Aren't we supposed to be getting 3 more of the 12 resurrected characters in DC75? Hawkman would be a better choice for DC75. I wouldn't be nearly as excited about getting Hawkman and Hawkgirl in the same collectors set (or whatever it is called). Deadman seems to be a very good choice for for his major role in Brightest Day so far.
Looking at the resurrected figures can give us an idea who we might be getting in DC75
Hawkman
Maxwell Lord
Professor Zoom
Hawk
Jade
Hawkman and Max Lord seem like the best bets just because of popularity and fan demands. The third slot could go to any of the remaining 3.
Edit: We also do have Hawkman in Modern, it is just a duo. You can justifiably argue that this isn't, but you can just as easily argue that Deadman and "Alive" Deadman are different.

I'll pee my pants if we get a new Jade and Alan Scott in the next set.
