Its funny that most of those things are rather undesirable traits. Not trying to be a jerk or anything, but if you admire Tony because of those qualities, it could be time to look for a new role model.
My God, look at that! I responded to a VGA post without being argumentative and needlessly confrontational! I guess it CAN be done.
Yeah, with the good comes the bad...
Anthony Stark is also:
Generous and Loyal.
And those are qualities that I strongly share with him, and anyone that knows me personally will vouch for all of the good and bad.

In most cases, being arrogant, conceited and a womanizer are reasons people would dislike a character. Personally, that's what I didn't like about the Iron Man movies, but I can't fault Robert Downey Jr. for that: he played the character perfectly. But that's also why I don't read Iron Man comics very much. Arrogance is a trait that I detest in people.
VGA, I guess we're even man. My thread got derailed unintentionally and so did yours.
KO is my homey. I've always got along great with him here, and I value his opinions and thoughts.
Sorry I help derail the other thread.

He's one of my favorite characters!
I think you are right... many of us are drawn to characters because we see a part of ourselves in that character.

Moral of the story: Don't piss this guy off! The Hulk is a great character, and is a very passionate character. Loyal, honorable, but don't piss him off!

I like these characters cause even though they take alot of #### from their peers/authorities, in the end they're in it for the greater good.
Punisher - So I kill a few criminals...you going to their funeral? didn't think so.
Ant-man - Ya'know it's hard out here for a PYMp.
Gotta admit.. the Punisher is my second fave character of all time, and I love Pym! Yeah, and nothing like taking the scum out! "Justice shall be served!"

My favorite character is the Hulk. You do the math.
Don't think of it as angry, you're just passionate. I brought this up above in regards to the Hulk.

And for the record... they aren't toys.. they are collectable miniatures and action figures. :O
But if I had to guess which character you are most like... it's gotta be Ulik the Troll. LOL!
Hm, I really like Eric O'Grady Ant-Man. I can be an insensitive jerk, and I'm not always the bravest person around, but I try to make more out of my life and I do have a sharp sense of humor.
What the hell? DId you say something that has some meaning, true meaning behind it? Was that slightly profound?
THe apocalypse is nigh.............or do you just like the thought of what he could do with that tail of his???
You know, the law of averages says at least one of my posts had to be valid (even if it was an accident!). I thought it was cool he could hold a sword with his tail. Fell free to turn that into something dirty as you slander my name about the realms!
BudPreachin' the truth!

i wish my life more resembled axe cop's. i don't even have an axe. but i have an axe handle... and sweet shades. if i could go back in time and name my dog ralph wrinkles i would.
I have always identified with Peter Parker: bookish, kinda nerdish, a social misfit in most situations. But, put me in the right environment and I can actually be a lot of fun to have around, constantly cracking one-liners and keeping the audience laughing. Really.
I never had a lot of luck with the ladies in high school, but in college I finally came into my own, became comfortable with myself and figured out (as much as anyone male can) the whole "woman" thing. That is essentially how the Peter Parker character evolved in the 60s.
Also, given the choice between choosing good over evil, I like to think that I would choose good. I think I'd try to stop a bank robbery instead of committing one. Though, honestly, I hope I never find out!
