Couple of things here Carlos. First of all, Perplex will only grant you an AST if it actually made a difference meaning that if you perplex someone's Def down (or Atk up) then you will only get an AST for it if that one use of perplex made the difference between a hit and a miss. Lady Lark's roll of (1,5) would have hit Power Princess' regular defence of 16 without help from Amphibian, so there's no AST there.

Secondly, perplex ends as soon as the target is clicked in any way (takes damage or is healed) meaning that as soon as Lady Lark damaged Power Princess, her Defence returned to normal, which means that Golden Archer missed.
