I think that the new superman will probably be the can't fly version from back in the day. I like the sculpt but I would have loved to have the action comics cover one with the car lol.

So basically the same as the one from Origin except with a few modern age special powers? Hmmm, could be fun if done right. It could also bring be a major bust if it's just another boring same ol' same old Superman like Brave & the Bold.

He could fly by the time the cover for that image was made, IIRC.
EDIT: It's spotty. The image the figure is designed from is taken from Superman #14. Still has the old 'E-2' Chest Shield and it is in the midst of WWII. It's generally accepted that Superman soon gained full-fledged flight by the early 1940s, but since I wasn't around I don't know if that's before or after Superman #14.
Although I'd like a new Krypto, for this set I'd take all the super pets on a duo base, Ace the bat-hound and Dex-Starr. I will slowly bring into being Vet Clix!

He could fly from day one on the radio, although it wasn't always described as such.
The radio show is where we get a LOT of Superman from: flight, Perry White, Daily Planet, Jimmy Olson, Kryptonite, Batman and Superman being friends, etc.
I'd be shocked if the Golden Age Superman didn't fly. At any rate, my wants for a 75th ANN set:
1. Superman E2 - which we're getting, yay! I would actually love the sculpt with him breaking chains or the Action Comics #1 scene with him holding a car, but this is pretty sweet
2. Batman E2 - JSA keywords away!
3. Batman/Robin Duo - classic Bruce and Dick combo with the blue Batman costume and the classic Robin costume
4. Adam Strange - one that has more outwit/perplex/probability than you can possibly ever hope to counter. Seriously, he makes Batman look like a chump for planning
5. Alan Scott - updated, better values, better powers/layout, JSA, 180-220pt total beat stick o'rama Alan. He's one of DC's most powerful, skilled, and experienced heros. Jay just got a MUCH needed update, let's see an Alan that rocks
"Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad,
He's so bad, he mak'a me mad
Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad
He's a real cad, Un-fun Dad"
Sargon
members of Freedom Fighters - Black Condor, Ms. America
More Legion - Sun Boy, Ferro Lad are both long overdue!
Golden Age Atom, Ragdoll, the Wizard
Lightray and Mantis - 70's
I don't care what you have to say, it makes no difference anyway, whatever it is, I'm against it!

As a DC novice, I have a couple of questions about this set:
1.) What is an E2 Superman? I know there is a chase fig that everyone calls E2 Superman, but I have no idea why?
2.) What would be the difference between a regular Superman and an E2 Superman?
3.) Same as above, but with Batman. (Never, ever heard of an E2 Batman!)
4.) Would Golden or Silver Age characters be underpowered or overpowered compared to their Modern Age counterparts?
Thanks in advance for some DC edu-macation!
May all your hits be crits!

You could just look it up. Or read the back of the cards.
Anyway, there's probably nobody better to explain this than me.
The E-2 Superman is Kal-L...the Black Lantern is the E-2 Superman. The Superman of Earth-2 in the DC multiverse. Because DC rebooted it's continuity in the 50's beginning the Silver Age of Comics with The Flash Barry Allen and later did a story where he met the Golden Age Flash "The Flashes of Two Worlds" (although Wonder Woman met a parallel version of herself even earlier than this), it sort of started a chain effect. The Justice League of America eventually teamed up with the Justice Society of America. But wait? How could Superman and Batman be in the Justice League AND the Justice Society?? To explain this, the folks at DC came up with another JLA/JSA story featuring the 'other' Superman in 1969. At first, they were pretty much identical but as time went on the Earth-2 Superman's appearance diverged slightly, and he kept the old style S shield while the now dubbed Earth 1 Superman remained as we know him. Editorially, the E-2 Superman is considered to be the Superman from Action Comics #1, although his first appearance is in Justice League of America #73, circa 1969.
A lot of stuff I will skip here. In Crisis on Infinite Earths, the DC multiverse was done away with for various reasons. At the end of that story, all parallel universes were retconned out of existence. However, a story mechanic kept Superman and Lois of Earth-2 (among a few others) who would have overlapping histories from being wiped out. Superman defeated the Anti-Monitor and he, Lois, Superboy-Prime, and Alex Luthor from Earth-3 entered a 'heavenly' paradise dimension rather than die...a pretty awesome send off.
However, they came back and got dragged through the mud with Infinite Crisis, etc.
The Earth-2 Superman's powers have been portrayed in many different fashions, but we will say that currently his power level seems equivalent to the current Superman, but less than that of Superboy Prime.
The Earth-2 Batman is the Earth-2 Superman's best friend. But he died well before the Crisis.
Some characters' Golden Age incarnations would be less powerful than their modern versions. For instance, Superman could not fly in the Golden Age, did not have heat vision or X-Ray Vision and could be hurt by artillery. Batman was far less prepared and had minimal gadgets compared to the Modern Batman. Wonder Woman could be rendered powerless by binding her wrists together. The Golden Age Flash- Jay Garrick-'s speed tops out at the speed of sound, compared to the speed of light, like the other Flash's. But this isn't a rule- I'm sure you could find someone who was more powerful in the Golden Age than the Modern Age.
The Golden Age Batman is the Batman that appeared in early Batman stories. Whereas Batman has traditionally not used guns, he used guns early in his career. He also later married Catwoman and had a daughter. He was killed by a criminal late in his life- I think he was in his 70s when he was killed.
The Red Kryptonite Superman is a cool idea, but did he ever actually do anything that could lend itself to a clix? Most Red Kryptonite stories I've seen just have him getting a lion or ant's head or weird stuff like that.
