Well my buddy and I played a couple rounds of multi-player, what seemed to be teamdeathmatch to me, and we basically got hit with a headshot every few seconds.

I understand there is a learning curve, considering when I first started playing COD I would go like 1-14 or 2-20. But it really sucked any sort of chance of me playing MP a lot out of the game.

I mean I get that Halo and COD are not the same game, but I would just hate to think that Halo is really just sniping the entire game.

However, Firefight is an absolute blast. I also LOVE the "credits" system. Same thing with the daily/weekly "challenges." Both are pure genius, and will keep the game fresh for awhile. Until you have all of the armor I guess.

But then they will release DLC I'm sure.

It's not all sniping, but sniper rifle spawns on every map. The game is about power weapons. Stuff like rockets, sniper rifle, shotgun, energy sword, etc. If you never pick these up, you will never win. Even if you suck with it, you take it so they can't get it. That's why teams are good, because you can give it to someone that can use it.

Side-note: My DMR k/d is 2.38
Explains my love of the DMR Other guns have higher k/ds with, but only used less than 50 times with most. DMR is only consistantly used score.

From what I can tell it just seems like you die a lot in Halo. I'm fine with that, I just need to get in that state of mind when I play MP on Halo.

Yeah, Halo is geared towards dying often for the most part.

I just want to get the challenges, but doing the MP ones seems hard since I SUCK

I did get the achievement where you steal a wraith in the first try. That was pretty awesome.

Coolest thing is the only Halo game I've really played is Halo Wars, and I'm seeing all of the stuff from that game in this one, which just seems cool to me for some reason.

Edit: I also found out the armory items don't do anything besides look different. Sort of lame, but I understand why it's done. At the same time, I would have loved to see a progression of armor/skills/etc. for MP. But again, not COD hahahaha.

I've still just been jumping on them and planting grenades to blow them up for the triple kills.

The achievement wasn't for taking a wrath, it was the smaller purple flying ones. Scyth maybe?

But I did steal a wraith too. You just have to wait for it to not say plant grenade. You have to kill the guy on the turret first, then stun it with the plasma gun, then run up and jump on it. If you move around and look towards the turret it will change and give you the option to sit in the turret, then the guy inside will come out and try to attack you. Just off him and you can take the wraith hahaha.

Gotta try and get a Wraith now just for giggles.

The small purple 1-MAN hovercraft are called Ghosts.

I love jacking Ghosts and going on a killing spree.

I think its for stealing a Banshee which is pretty fun. Anyone got the one for saving yourself from falling to death via assassinating an elite? I know exactly where and how to do it (based on videos) but I am just having a really hard time getting the timing perfect.

When you jump on a Wraith, use the melee/bash button repeatedly to bash open the hatch and pull the driver out. You'll jump off after that, but the Wraith will be inactive, and you should be able to then climb in and pilot it.

For the Banshee (the flying vehicle) you just need to press X and the hijack is automatic, like the Ghost. They specifically have an achievement for hijacking a Banshee while using the jetpack.

You could jack them previously, but they took it out in ODST and possibly Halo 3 (I know you can jack them in 2).

Gah! Armored Elites are stupidly rediculous on Heroic and Legendary. 3 Headshots from a sniper rifle to put them down....phew

Down to only needing to complete Exodus for the CQB helmet. The bummer is it didn't give me the 5000 points for completing 9 missions on the Heroic or harder...booo...but still, have 3 missions on Legendary done, yay!

Spent like 3 hours doing some MP. I've definitely been enjoying it. Invasion mode is really fun.

I got that one. It's really satisfying to get the acheivement to pop. I actually assassinated the same elite about 13 times before the acheivement popped. You have to wait a little after he comes into range, because if you do it immediately, you aren't technically going to die from the fall. You have to be capable of dying at the point of assassination. Took me about 5-10 minutes, i think. Don't really remember.
