I think you misunderstand. Goomba's lack the capacity to hypnotize. Those swirlies mean IT'S the brainwashed one.

I'm pretty sure that JackA meant it to symbolize that the Gooba is confused by the Bowser voice.

Wade stoically stares at the creature affixed to his posterior, trying to figure out how its eyes got so swirly. After a while, he realizes that the only way he could do so would be if he were hypnotized. Apparantly Loony Tunes logic crosses all boundaries.

He also finds out some pertinent things!

They figure out there there's probably something hidden in one of the remaining blocks due to its unique fungal architecture. The goomba is a wuss and has been HYPNOTIZED WOoOooOOOOO! By who or what, you don't know. Perhaps somehow getting past the ferocious knee high mushroom would further your cause?

Pax does some karate practice, mere feet from the Goomba ripping apart Wade's backside while Space Jawa does his Bowser imitation again. While Pax's theatrics don't add much to the conversation (It reeeeeeeeally wasn't necessary in this instance. You guys would be blowing the Goomba out of the water with one person if you weren't trying basically the one thing that won't work against him) and the oblivious chomping Goomba doesn't react at all to the Bowser impersonation, something else approaches.

Two Hammer Brothers appear.

"I swear I heard Bowser," said one.

"Bowser? Here? But he's..."

"Don't say it! Those idiot plumbers might be nearby!"

"Are they idiot plumbers?"

"I'm not sure they're plumbers, bro. No overalls."

"Hey! That one's holding an innocent Goomba captive on his butt!"

"LET'S GET 'EM!"

"HAMMER TIME!"

They raise their hammers threateningly. The Goomba continues its meal

Ok, guess the hypnotism isn't working like I hoped it would. At least it seems to have stun abilities that might make combat easier. Let me see if that helps against the Hammer Brothers.

My action will be to Impersonate Bowsers Voice to say to the Hammer Brothers "Stop, you two! You are interfering with with a quest to save the Power of Reality! If this quest fails, no one wins!" (Shmooze; Attribute: Man of a Million-and-One Voices) I'm trying to either do the hypnotism thing to the Hammer Brothers or convince them to go elsewhere.

Hey Pax, should I save that "special" attack for Bowser, or should I attempt it on the Goomba now?

I won't say that Goomba's done some damage, but at this point, Wade probably can't turn the other cheek.

Oh, we're doing something to take care of the Goomba, I'm just seeing if I should save a hilariously epic attempt at something for later, or use it on the Goomba now. It's something you'd definitely appreciate.

I give it 50/50 odds that you guys just let it keep chomping poor Wade.
