We know a few things about points:


1. Actual numbers are dirt cheap.
2. Stealth in the Movement row is cheap.
3. Willpower is cheap.

Knowing that we now get a Spoiler with more range, an extra and better stats.

But we lose unOutwittable Stealth (Batman TA), Leap Climb, a click of CR, and the Gotham City keyword.

The difference? 7 points. I can accept this.

Those crying foul with claims of "Power Creep" clearly don't have deep collections.

I have to admit you've got me there. Iconic he certainly is not. His only claim to fame is being DC Comics' (and Siegel & Shuster's) first published hero, predating Superman by several years. He was absent from comics for over 40 years, until Roy Thomas (who else?) brought him back in All-Star Squadron.

Still, couldn't we make do with just one fewer character we've had half a dozen versions of before, painted white, to make room for Doc???

It makes sense that the preview today is a old figure. I thought it would be Superman or Batman classic versions but Crimson Avenger is cool.

I hope to see a few more figures with his key words.

Modern age Spoiler? I can't believe nobody sees the modern age Scourge of the underworld.
One of my favorite clix ever and he gets a DC counterpart in modern?

For those of you unfamiliar with Scourge- His dial is almost identical, point cost is the same. He has RCE instead of CR and a slightly higher starting attack value.
If I could post dial coparisons I would.
Anybody wanna help me out with that?

I actually like the version we have from Justice League. But frag me for a bastich, how do they not have Lobo in every set?

He killed santa clause and the easter bunny and they ain't even real! So how does he not make an appearance in hammer of thor? Hammer, you think Lobo doesn't have a hammer? Brave and the Bold? Are you kidding? You fraggin look up Brave and Bold in the dictionary and you find a picture of nothing - Wizkids erased those two words from the dictionary when they excluded the main man!

I'd like to hear Ziran's thoughts on why Lobo isn't in the 64 spot of every set. #1 SR there is bro. What's the matter Ziran? Cat got yer tongue? Cat got yer whole friggin face?!

He was also able to materialize in the Authority's Universe and kill his way back to the Easter Bunny.

Not to mention other All-Star Squadron members, also packing the JSA TA. I think, though, that he'll see a lot of play, just for his bargain price, and that might not be the case if he had the TA and cost more.

It's also HIGHLY possible there will be an All-Star Squadron alternate team ability released. So he won't even need the JSA TA, just the keyword.

Not shabby. It's the the originals (in their original form) that have the TA, that's why I was hoping to see it here. Still, not bad at all.

i like the figure and dial but gotta say BOOOOO!!! why are we shown a character like this?? we already got a lower tier character. some ppl buy based on whats previewed. for a preview i think this is a poor choice. come on wizkids, show us something to make us drool!! yes he's good and all but i want a preview of a character that brings some power, not another tie-up piece.

OR...you can look at it from the perspective that:

a) we see another dial that is solid for its points;
b) another character that, heretofore, has not been introduced into the game yet;
c) a character that has been hailed as the hero that launched the golden age in DC canon and thus fits the DC 75th theme to a "T".

Regardless, can't please everyone.

Seems like a very appropriate choice for this preview to me.
