I'm really curious about what went down yesterday. I was MIA from the Ogres most of the day, but I remember something about peanut butter and soccer moms.
How this leads to hard feelings, I have no idea.
My thoughts? Let bygones be bygones and let's get back to slapping each other. This is the land of bright and cheery (ironic for Ogres, yes). Let's make it happen. Let's make it happy.
I just know I did my best to change the subject, but it didn't work too well. Next time I'll just whip out the e-peen to distract everyone so they quit arguing.

Agreed!
Tim Burton was right: "A square jaw does not a Batman make." Steve Buscemi as the next Batman! Luke Perry as Joker! Let's make it happen!
I must be alone here that I'm not blown away by Black Adam. I think he's good, but he's not crazy. I don't think he'll be the most expensive piece in the set unless the other SR's are exceptionally mediocre. In a Superman set, I expect at least 1 SR to be almost a point and click figure that will draw the big bucks. To my surprise, this figure is rather straight forward and rather simple in it's design. I didn't want to criticize it in the other thread because this is George Massu's chance to shine and enjoy the spotlight of his figure. I pride myself at being level-headed when looking at figures and I think time will prove me right that this figure will be fair, but not give you the looks that Metron, Nightcrawler, or Cosmic Spider-man will earn you by showing up with them at a tournament.
I agree with you, save to use the specifics to declare this a well-designed figure I'll be very happy to pull. My expectation is that it'll mostly see play at the Experienced, 200 pt, level, which strikes me as offering the best value. The un-outwittable powers (save for Outwit) on those special defensive clicks will be among the most attractive points for this.
I never go looking for point-and-click pieces, and had I pulled a Cosmic Spidey he would have likely been up for sale pretty quickly.
A debt collector had called, I told them I never had service from them, and said a dispute would then be set up. Got an envelope today with a bunch of bills that I hadn't gotten before today...it's like 200 dollars they want for a service I never had. Has a number but will have to call them Monday to see what is going on :-/
Hello, BOTO! Found the new place- turns out, it wasn't far rom the old place!

Google 'em before you talk to anyone. Lot of scam artists will present you simply talking to them as evidence that you accept responsibility for the debt.
Agreed. I like him, but I did agree with the one poster in that announcement thread that said something to the effect that "this puts the final nail in the Cap set."
I really love the Cap set, but I am worried that it's finess pieces will be simply overpowered by a full set of point-and-shoot bricks.
There's the competitive tournament/venue scene and there are the worthwhile people who are in this entirely because of the characters. (Feel free to imagine a winking emoticon here to soften the barb some may feel at that, and I recognize that these are not mutually exclusive camps, but I simple don't care about the interests of people for whom these are all stats, powers and costs.)
I won't begin to concern myself with what will and won't dominate in competitive play other than to say there are interesting challenges in trying to figure out how to bring down a single 200-300 pt piece with four, five, six or more smaller, synergized pieces within the same build.

Excellent point. Really, that should have come immediately to mind.
