I am in the same boat. It hurts watching less qualified people advance while they give you lip service. I am currently looking as well. Keep your job, go get another and then quit. I know it is common courtesy to ask your current employer to match an offer sheet, but I would tell them they have to beat the offer, a price for not giving you the promotion in the first place.

I sometimes watch Cartoon Network Cartoons like Adventure Time or Regular Show. Used to watch Chowder on that a lot when it was running.
