Blue Beetle appeared in the midst of the battle with a "pop!"
"Okay this is weird," he commented.
"Shoot 'em! The guys on the roof!" Ernie said, running up to him.
"I usually like a little better idea of what's going on before I start shooting people, but you are a cop and well, what the heck?" He fired his BB Gun at Kang, disrupting the time master's force field, bringing him down.
"Pop!"
"Okay, this is really weird," Blue Beetle said.
"Well, let me make it so you don't have to worry about it," Rogue said.
"Aaah!" Blue Beetle reacted instinctively, turning and firing off a shot at the source of the voice.
"Pop!"
"Okay, this is weird," Jaime Reyes, the Blue Beetle said, appearing in the midst of the battle.
For some reason this game requires more thought for me than the others. Not sure why.
Strange's lmd would prevent the ee spillover damage.
I should ask regarding promotion tokens, should I be rolling every turn for GL when he makes an attack or just the once. At this point he should have 2 tokens (for two attacks) but I didn't roll for the 2nd attack.
Iron Man attacks Iron Man. Needs 6, rolls 7. He's out.
Replacing Rogue is the Rookie Enchantress in at M3. Loner on her.
Iron Man outwits Bert's Minion sp.
For some reason I'm attracted to the CW common Vision. I hear lots of gripes but I like him. Enchantress sends him to L11.
Vision charges to F15 attacking Bert. Needs 6, rolls 5. Stellar start. Alias on him.
Scarlet Wonder passes in the duel. They do roll for Chaos Magic. 6 again. Once again they counter Catwoman's speed powers.

This game is a lot closer than it feels. I don't know what it is about it, maybe it's the elevated terrain you're holding but it feels to me like this is very much your game. But we're actually very close in points, so I guess maybe I'm doing better than I think.
And regarding the Battlefield Promotion, you roll for it after every successful attack GL makes.
Gordon moves to M23. Should have done that a long time ado to use his Defend with Enchantress.
I want to try new Brainiac. I'll go with the old school and hopefully promote him later. In Iron Man's spot with Outsmart on him. Outwits Iron Man's Toughness and attacks him, AV11 on DV16 -1 for Bert's TA. Gets a 4. Maybe this is why I'm feeling like I'm doing poorly.
Bert on Vision, AV9 on DV17. Gets 2. This time Enchantress can help. New roll s 8. 1 to Vision after Toughness. http://www.ianparmenter.com/hcutils2...9y15&x1=x35y-7

"Iron Man. You delude yourself into thinking you're smart. Compared to me, you've the intellect of a child!" Brainiac said, trying to hit him with an energy blast. It fizzled against his armor.
"Yeah, you keep telling yourself that if it'll help you sleep at night," Iron Man told him.
Funny, you see this as close. Feels very far apart to me, with you ahead. Points don't always tell the tale.
Vision gets an alias roll: 3. The hit of 1 is solid.
Strange to M8.
Infiltrator to N10.
Vizh on Bert. Needs 6 + 1, gets 6. Should've had Dr. Strange boost his av. He'll boost his dv instead. Really like the look of this Vision but man...two turns in a row and he can't even take a police guy....
Wanda rolls for Chaos: 6 again. I forget that they're a duo so they can attack twice as long as they don't use a power and Chaos magic is a free action. Obviously Marv is the threat. They'll use Chaos magic on his defenses. Needs 7, rolls 8. 3 to him. They need 6 to finish him off, rolls a 2. It's ironic that the Queen of pc no longer offers it for herself: 1 to Scarlet Wonder.

"Well, we're not doing any good back here," Blue Beetle complained.
"I can help you with that," the Enchantress said, teleporting him right into the middle of the fight.
"Right. Not quite what I had in mind," Blue Beetle thought to himself.
"Several enemies in close proximity. Recommend EMP attack," his Scarab spoke to him.
"Yeah, sure. Okay. Do it." A wave of energy shot out from Blue Beetle, catching Iron Man and Cosmo, though Green Lantern got up a shield to protect himself.
"Armor didn't like that," Tony complained.
"My suit's systems either," COsmo agreed.
"Normally I like dogs, but telepathic dogs that attack me I'm less fond of," Coulson said, picking Cosmo off from the ground.
"Right, that's just uncalled for," Iron Man said, readying a counterattack.
Howard Stark with dissent in for Cosmo. Dissents Beetle's Mystics.
Iron Man on BB. Strange perplexes his av to 10. Needs 7, rolls 6. Uses arc reactor sp: rolls 7. 2 to Beetle after toughness. Rolls 4 for the sp so he takes 1, like he's getting the Mystics damage anyway.
Would rather target Brainiac but can't reach him. GL on BB. Needs 5, rolls 7. He's out. Much as I like the promotion effect, I don't think I'll bother with it here. I'll collect them anyway in case I change my mind along the road.

I think you're confusing Iron Men. Your recap says you're using CW201. But you're useing AVM06's Arc Reactor Power.
That's the problem with them releasing a dozen different Iron Men in the course of 6 months
You're right. And I definitely drafted the CW201. His attack was a miss. After GL's hit BB's at 4.

"Magic. Bah!" Brainiac spat. "Your mystical mumbo jumbo is nothing compared to my superior science!" Sure enough, Brainiac's energy blast shattered Strange's mystic shields.
"Your power is considerable," Strange conceded. "But you'll find I am not beaten yet. I still have a trick or two up my sleeve."
"Okay Scarab, that pulse wave did the trick last time. Let's do it again!" Jaime said. The scarab on his back repeated the attack. This time not even Green Lantern's force bubble stopped it completely.
"I can see we're going to have to swat that bug once and for all," Green Lantern decided.
Strange to incap Brainiac. Needs 9, rolls 9. Hey, good start. A token and click to him.
Vision on Bert. Needs 6, rolls 7. 3 to him.
Howard dissents BB's ta.
GL rs to M7 attacking BB. Needs 7, rolls 8. BB's out. You know, that construct power is cool, maybe I'll try to upgrade GL after all. He rolls a 5 so he's now Hal.
Scarlet Wonder on Marv. Needs 6, rolls 8. SS is 3, he's out.
