I haven't read all the previous posts, but to me, this is Batman as he's currently portrayed. Over the last few decades, DC has gradually powered up Bats (and de-powered Superman to some extent). The perplex/outwit reflects his ability to out think, anticipate and contingency plan for every possibility. The AVs are appropriate for the world's foremost martial artist - seriously how often does he ever miss in the comics? The high damage represents his skill, experience and gadgets. The traditional stealth/grapple line mobility. I even like the long dial - he won't fold up like a dry leaf when he gets hit - he comes back, he has stamina and grit.
And yes, Spidey deserves something comparable!
"Those pigstickers may scare the bar room bullies, but to me you're a joke!" . . . Spider-Man to Wolverine
I really don't understand the fuss about this piece and not only do I look forward to using it at both point values on my teams, I really think he represents the "never quit" Batman.
Why do they introduce the Batman Inc keyword yet only give it to 1 Batman - the Prime Super Rare to boot? Shouldn't at least one of the obtainable Batmans have it?
I'm a big fan of Bats, but even I think the pieces from this set are getting to be a little over the top. Especially the trait on this one giving other characters the Batman TA. If he didn't have the Justice League keyword I'd say ok, that's about right.... but then I'd complain that he didn't have the JL keyword. It's a never ending circle...

I would have actually accepted his Team Leader trait so much quicker if he actually had the keyword for the one team that he himself started - Batman Inc. It makes more sense too considering that he put together that team to serve his cause and thus expanded his collection of Batman allies.

Well, he did start the Outsiders too, but I really hope it's some sort of error. Unless there's going to be another Batman besides the two supers, because I really like the caped crusader, but I don't like his name (he can't use both pilot abilities on the Batmobile) and the bat thing is kind of a rookie (ala Frank Miller) thing.
I have wanted a 200 point Batman for some time now. As such, I was extremely excited when this was released. Then I saw the dial... It is good. It is a very powerful dial. But, I don't think this is the best way to do a 200 point Batman. Although this figure is a force to be reckoned with he doesn't have the durability, damage output, or overall utilitarian effectiveness to make the 200 points worth paying. He either should have been able to dish out a lot more damage or had more SPs for map control and character control (ex. Multi-target Incap, free action Smoke Cloud, OOTS ability, or something along those lines.) I will definitely get one becasue I am a Bat-figure completionist, but I doubt I will reach for this guy much when buidling teams because of the plethora of other more point-effective Batmen out right now.

I just can't believe how much of a beast this Batman is and am totally looking forward to teaming him up with the Justice League, especially the muppet looking tabapp ones, bwahahahaha!!!
The raw stats remind me of the promo Batman from HT. Say what ypou want about "200 points is too high for Batman", he's worth the cost and seems like a good representation of a no holds barred, fully prepared Batman. Will definately be playying the Utility Belt on him for even more over-the-top fun!
