Brunnhilde tks her to J13 and cont-plans her av to 11.
Sigrun tries to heal up Loki. Needs 6, rolls 2. Man, that just sucks.
Ymer on SuperRobot. Needs 7, rolls 4.
Frost giant uses spear throw on Zod. Needs 5 with the sp, rolls 6. That makes it 5 damage so Zod is out and I can get something out of this crummy turn.
Karnilla on Renegade. Needs 7, rolls 5. Times like this, where every roll had a 1 in it, seems like the fragin' die roller is broken.
Loki makes his damage 3 and outwits Renegades toughness then attacks him. Needs 7, rolls 7. 3 to Renegade.
Before I move ahead with this, I wan to double check on the Giant's attack. So with his Spear Throw, his damage becomes 5, but Zod's still on an Invulnerable click. I don't see where you did anything to circumvent that. So that should only be 3 damage, no? Which isn't a KO.
Also - not sure whether this is better or worse for you, but when you roll a crit miss on Support you do the click of damage to the figure that was being healed, not the healer (Oops, my scalpel slipped!)
Superbot Perplexes Eradicator's Damage to 3. Eradicator on Loki, AV10 on DV16. Gets a 12, and with no PC in sight, that makes his Damage 4 with Psychic Blast and that will KO Loki. 1 more to Eradicator.
Can Superbot break? Gets 5. Charges to K12 to block Loki. Can he attack Karnilla? SC is 3. AV10 on DV16. Gets a 10, and it's doubles. THat makes it 3 from the attack, KB knocks her off the edge and she ends in M10, taking 2 more. But hey, that gives you some PC now.
Renegade Flurries on the Troll. AV9 on DV15. Gets a 9 for 3. Second attack is on DV14. Gets 7 for 3 more.
"I am called the Eradicator. You are about to learn the reason why." He trained his Kryptonian vision on Loki. The trickster tried to teleport away to another spot, but the Eradicator seemed to know where he was going and was there, pressing the attack as soon as he reappeared.
"You've not heard...the last...of me," Loki promised as he fell.
"I am unconcerned," the Eradicator said.
"You are an enemy of Superman. I will stop you," the Superman Robot said, flying into Karnilla, sending her tumbling down the side of the mountain.
"Tis a good thing we Asgardians are a tough breed, but that machine has earned itself my undying enmity," Karnilla said, gingerly picking herself back up again.
I've felt all along like I've been winning this game, but I'm comparing what you have in reserve to what I have, and I don't know. Looks pretty even there.
And looking at the Man of Steel set, I'm thinking I missed out on a few figures I could have used. You were saying you had to make cuts. Do you want to do a supplementary draft? Maybe another 500 points? Looks like slots 9-12 haven't been revealed in that set either.
And yes, now is a good time for Zod to use his Protected.
Ursa HSS to L9 attacking Karnilla, AV9 on DV14, gets 9. Karnilla's out Ursa ends in M10 to block her replacement.
Zod on the Giant. AV10 on DV16. Gets 4. Hmph.
Last Superman Robot comes in. Superboy TKs him to H9
Robot on the Troll, AV10 on DV13. Gets 6. Troll's out.
Robot gives the Cyborg Outwit. Cyborg Outwits Sigrun's Toughness.
Superboy Perplexes Cyborg's AV to 11.
Cyborg RS to J10, blocks the Troll, attacks Sigrun. Gets 7. 4 to Sigrun and she's KOd too.
Supergirl HSS to J12, attacks Valkyrie (Brunhilda), AV10 on DV18. Gets 6. I'm going through the rest of your guys pretty well, but I can't seem to lay a glove on Val. Supergirl ends in I8
Then again, if you don't want to prolong this game, I would understand that too.
As much as I liked the idea of his game, it took me awhile to get into it, my poor guys are tough brutes but without much movement. At first I thought they were lions to the slaughter but now I'm less sure of that. It's gone from a game I dreaded to one I'm curious about. Sadly, last turn didn't keep up that trend.
I'm willing to discuss a draft, could be fun, but let's finalize next week and see how this goes. Maybe we can deprioritize this game so I can reassess next weekend? I know there's plenty of Asgardians still to be played for me, even if I have to throw in plenty of generics.
You certainly don't make things easy for me. KOs are one thing (and Loki hurt) but must you replace every koed figure directly?
Destroyer in for Sigrun. Amora makes his damage 5. Can he attack CySu? Gets 6. Grrrr. Eradicator then. Needs 5, rolls 8. SS is 2. 4 to him after toughness.
In comes my last Rock Troll who moves to L16.
Heimdall on CySu? SC is 5. Crumbs.
Last replacement is Sif and hindsight being 20/20 I probably should have pulled the HoT version for her phasing skill. Instead she just moves to J16.
"Ah look, the Lady Sif both finally reveal her face. And with a new beau, I see," Enchantress says to Sif and the rock troll who begin trekking up the hill.
"Pleasant to see thee too, Amora, if thou wouldst like to help us I would not say nay," Sif says.
"I would love to, dear, but the Destroyer is wrecking havoc with our foes and he may need my sly but invaluable aid!".
Sif looks to Leif, the troll. "Tis up to us then." The pair both make their way up the mountain.
"Your paltry swords and armor are useless against me," Cyborg Superman said, ripping into Heimdall.
"Heimdall!" Brunhilde gasped.
"Worry not about me, Brunhilde. I but buy the Destroyer time to do its job," Heimdall said as the Superman Robot threw itself at the Destroyer, to no avail.
