I think, in the past, a team like mine (Batman Family) would have direct access to the Batman Family ATA without having to select that as a team feat. Does it still works that way?

In the FLE you automatically have access to ATAs your team qualifies for.

yeah I was surprised at what was left. At spot 12 I submitted wacky Cores trying not to have team crossover with anyone.

The league has come a long way. For the first few years if you were low on the list it was hard to pick teams and have a strong theme team with out getting subs. And even if you had a high draft spot often your line up got cannibalized. My First year I think there was 4 Avengers Teams. Now with so many figures and Alternate versions (Movies and such) its much easier.

also the new draft system is great. I was looking at a JLA team's and you can actually draft a usable Zatanna right away and not fight your way through those old rookies if you so choose. So much better.

I'd love to Run a Satellite JLA team with Zatana and Firestorm, but Firestorms figures from a draft stand point are such a mess still imho.

With this question I am not disputing Kruegger's team choice at all - it is just a question. I'm totally fine with everything the way it is, I'm just looking for reasoning.

I'm surprised that a team like "Batman Family" is permitted in the Leagues. My understanding was we had to find a comic team. Now - I can totally come up with a set of comics where those characters actually were in them together, but as a cohesive unit? I can think of 1 or 2 situations - notably No Man's Land - where those people worked together, but that doesn't look like the way it was posed to the core list. What was the reasoning behind allowing a Wizkids Keyword (with a capital K!) team?

More name issues. It could be perfectly valid to name it 'No Man's Land' or 'Death of the Family' or *cough* 'Gotham Knights' 'Batman Family' is a little on the nose, but it's valid.

Also, looking at the figures with that keyword, he's about done as far as figures go. The only one left undated is Azrael, and there's not much more that he can add to his core theme. (Especially with Timmy D drafted).

Another team I thought of running was an Ancestral Armor team. 3 Chase Armors + 616 Tony Stark. Fun times.

Firestorm was my favorite hero growing up. Really took a liking to him in JLA #200 and was stoked when he made it onto the Super Friends. However many designers have worked in Clix, they seem determined not to give Ronnie Raymond opening-dial Running Shot. Really odd for a character nicknamed "Hothead."

I don't want to stir another discussion around me and my team/figures' choices, I'm pretty much fed up with that.

If needed be, I can change team. My second and third most wanted teams are still available. I'll change to them without a problem, to avoid further issues.

I already said I'm not disputing it, and I already gave you a theme that would work in No Man's Land to show it works. I'm just curious what the reasoning is. I'm just looking to understand the rules while I'm drafting - because I could maybe draft things I couldn't draft otherwise

Just venting out, due to recent events and comments...

The thing is, if my team is renamed to No Man's Land (or anything related to that story arc) and after a quick wiki search, I think I could've added another figure to my core (a very important one for me), as it showed on those comic issues...

Superman is *not* thematic for a No Man's Land team!
