Jo Nah's torture was just in it's infancy when Tinya discovered him. She immediately attacked the torturer and struck him down but Ronan struck her down as she turned to confront a second Kree torturer.

Timber Wolf and Shrinking Violet were in another room trying to reach Tinya and Jo, following Tinya's flight ring signal.

Timber Wolf and Shrinking Violet were trying to reach their friends but the numbers were getting too overwhelming for them. Eventually Timber Wolf was overcome and Violet was forced to hide in his uniform microscopically and wait for an opportunity.

Timber Wolf was badly hurt when he was overcome and Violet wasn't sure he would survive his wounds inflicted by the Kree.

However, Timber Wolf was brought to the same room where Ultra Boy and Phantom Girl were being held and Vi saw that they'd subdued all of her friends. She was still heavily out numbered and decided to wait for the Kree to thin out before she made a move. Her plan was to see what they'd done to poor Jo and revive him somehow.

Superboy had his own flight ring but it was outdated and couldn't communicate with the other flight rings so he and the cosmic heroes had to search for the stranded Legionnaires on their own.

Moondragon sensed the thoughts of Shrinking Violet, however and they soon homed in on the Legion members.

Superboy, Mar-Vell and the others had no choice but to burst in on Ronan and demand the release of Ronan's prisoners.

Ronan argued that they were spies on the Kree empire and that he had every right to keep them prisoner.

"Besides; what right did you, Mar-Vell, a Kree traitor, have to claim these spies?"

"They're not spies. They were brought to Hala involuntarily and you know it. You will not gain any advantage by holding them prisoner."

"On the contrary, my dear Mar-Vell, they will provide valuable information that can only benefit the Kree position in this strange reality."

"Ronan, you are a fool. Nothing you learn from them will give you an advantage over the United Planets so relinquish them immediately."

"I am not a fool. This new reality we are in has become even more volatile. We must do everything we can to protect ourselves. The Supreme Intelligence has calculated that Galactus wil soon be restored and Thanos is abroad and those are only two threats from our own universe! What of Brainiac? Omni-Man? Despero? Darkseid? We must do what we can to defend ourselves. Our ancient Skrull enemies still threaten and now we have these new threats that appeared along with your Legion. What of them?"

"We know nothing of them, they are a new element and have no bearing on your prisoners."

"Do they not? We have evidence of collaboration between your Legion and this new threat. They are war criminals and are our prisoners!"

They were at an impasse.

Superboy was frustrated. He wanted to gain his friends freedom.

He lunged at Ronan and tried to relieve him of the Universal weapon. Unfortunately, it burned his hand, That was when Superboy learned that he was vulnerable to the power cosmic, which drove the Universal Weapon of Ronan's.

For several moments, Superboy held his right hand in unaccustomed pain.

Things were getting ugly and all they knew was they had to get those Legionnaires out as soon as possible.

Shrinking Violet had been watching this with keen interest and had visited Ultra Boy to try to revive him.

She saw that he was drugged and pulled out a pill developed by Brainiac 5 that neutralized power dampenors like this.

She grew to full size and pushed it in Jo's mouth quickly, then shrank.

Ultra Boy was rejuvenated instantly.

Ultra Boy's revival took everyone by surprise and soon, Ronan was badly outnumbered.

Finally, Ronan capitulated and allowed the heroes to leave with his prisoners.

Before long, the Legion members were reunited with their other team members who were hovering just beyond Kree space. The two Legion factions were reunited and Timber Wolf was healed completely in an advanced hyperbaric chamber.

Unfortunately, the Kree declared war on the United Planets shortly after.

Batman looked at and analyzed the latest arrivals, New Legion members and a new alien race that seemed to be neutral in it's affiliations. Somehow the description of both the Alien Xenomorphs and the Predators that the Legion encountered seemed hauntingly familiar.
This bothered Batman, because that also was the case with Spiderman, Daredevil, Judge Dredd, Captain America, the Hulk and some others.

Batman had discussed this with Superman and Superman also felt like he'd met several heroes and villains from other realities as well.

Now their was a younger version of Superman in this reality. Why were their so many variations on the two of them?

Batman chafed to learn who was behind all this.
