I'll just join next time- It'd be easier to join in on something like that if you posted the dials- maybe not accurate to how heroclix is supposed to play, if only there was a way to hide the rest of the dial besides click 1.
Ya, that'd be great for HCFL! Anyways, I'll pm ya when I get it posted next time around!

We played on the Batman No Man's Land power plant. We made the condition that whoever won the map roll would start at the plant and if the Sinister six won it meant that they'd already destroyed the plant(which they did) otherwise the Justice League got there in enough time to stop them.
The Justice League whooped on them the entire time. I don't think that my brother and I communicated on what level our teams would be. I was also trying to compensate for the 100 point Superman. I'm really glad my brother decided not to do the Power Ring instead of Lex.
Dramatic retelling
Lex had gotten himself a team. Since he could never beat Superman he'd funded 5 of the city's best criminals. Things had been going fairly well for him. Until that meddling kid with his sentinel showed up. Seriously how could a piece of machinery that huge do that much damage to a team of elite criminals? there's no way that he should have been able to do that. yes banshee and superman were trouble as well, but the real genius was getting that robot.

Sinister Six was completely prepared for the Justice League and soundly defeated them, leaving the JL wondering if they were meant to work together.
------------- Leaders: Superman and Computo Map: The Bank -------------
We decided to use only figures we'd never used before, so some of the choices are a little odd here, haha.
The strange future robot known as Computo had time-traveled back to the present day and assembled a truly bizarre team of supervillains, whom the media dubbed "The Sinister Six". No one but Computo could fully comprehend its choice of members. Superman, still somewhat new to superheroics and fearing for the world's safety, brought together five of his allies to form a "Justice League" to oppose Computo.
After determining the next bank that The Six were likely to rob, the newly-formed Justice League met there and awaited their foes. They began to spread out. Superman, The Hulk, Rescue, and Nightrunner began to patrol the area of the bank open to the public. Meanwhile, Cave Carson and Spider-Man swiftly dug a tunnel into the restricted back area, hoping to secure the vault.
Suddenly, without any warning, the Silver Samurai teleported into the center of the bank's lobby, ran straight at Superman, and rammed his tachyon-coated katana through the hero's stomach (roll of 6 on the BCF, dang). During the ensuing confusion, Computo slowly rolled his way into one of the bank's restrooms and into a toilet stall, while the shapeshifting Hybrid sneaked in and hid himself among the bank's many desks.
Startled, Superman threw a mighty punch at the Samurai, cracking his armor. Sensing danger, Spider-Man swung into the lobby from the back room, ricocheting off the Samurai and then landing on the tellers' counter. The ground shook as an enraged Hulk leapt to the center of the lobby.
The Silver Samurai, testing his limits, swung his blade again at Superman, and the Kryptonian fell, the rest of the League recoiling in shock. Using the heroes' distraction as cover, Flag-Smasher and Onomatopoeia sneaked into the bank and hid behind a stone pillar. Spider-Man fired webbing at the Samurai, and he finally dropped to the ground, unconscious. The Hulk, blind with rage, leapt across the bank, unaware that he was headed towards hiding villains, and the force of his landing sent Onomatopoeia flying backwards. Rescue and Nightrunner moved to join up with Spider-Man, and the three assumed a defensive posture. Cave Carson moved quietly through the back rooms of the bank. Onomatopoeia fired his pistols at the Hulk, but they went mostly unnoticed. However, a moment later and unbeknownst to the Hulk, Hybrid had leached away his nigh invincibility; thus when Flag-Smasher dove from hiding, firing a machine-gun at the Hulk's face, the brute suffered a great deal and roared with pain.
Fearing that the Hulk's blind rage may turn him against his friends, Rescue engaged him with a forcefield, and moved him towards Flag-Smasher. The Hulk punched Flag-Smasher full in the face, leaving him in a daze. Spider-Man, relying purely on his "Spider-Sense", ran towards where Hybrid was hiding, grabbing a heavy computer monitor along the way and smashing it into the beast. Cave Carson sprung out of the ground next to Computo, perhaps underestimating what it would take to disable the robotic villain...
...which is where our timer buzzed and we called the game, as a victory for The Sinister Six. With Superman down, they clearly won by points, and the Hulk was nearly dead as well which would have given the villains an even greater advantage. Computo hadn't even entered battle-mode yet, and Shame never even got a chance to bust in through the wall in his tank! He was still in his starting area, waiting for his moment to shine! lol
Overall I was hoping - and expecting - that the Justice League would win, but with some clever placement and a few very good rolls, the villains dominated. I think I was definitely playing overconfidently with the heroes... or perhaps they just aren't used to teamwork yet!

as my leader. does his special leadership ability stack with the 300 point leadership special of this scenario?
more to the point does he count as 300pts for the ability of his enemies fear him, freezing every other model of the enmy force?
No one said the job would be easy. Superman has taken care to find a collection of heroes that he felt could mesh today and in the future. Some he was familiar with...others from distant realms and cities seldom visited.
After consulting with a few experts in team building (Nick Fury, Captain America, my son) he sent out the call to a select group of heroes to join him in the fight!
After we pulled together this roster, I asked my son why no girls on the team? He said the girls just mess things up...
Even after we pulled together the Justice League roster it took a while to gather a group of villains to be a challenge to this JL line-up.
My son had his ideas of villains he wanted to face to make sure he won. I told him (to be fair) that we would each run the hero and villain teams. After that he could choose the team for the third game.
With that information he changed gears from fielding a mess of glass-jawed "B" class villains to some pretty formidable pieces. The Sinister Six looked pretty fun!
Once I explained with Bizarro could do he couldn't wait to field him...
First game I played the villains really loose to give him a few open shots. He rolled three crits in his first then rolls!! Suffice it to say, it was great to see my kid get all puffed up with self-confidence as he steam rolled Bizarro, Venom and Captain Cold pretty quickly. He really didn't get the idea of pushing or how damaging yourself could be bad. He got the game but I made him chase me all over the map!
The second game I took the hero reigns and wrecked house. He was mad and under the impression by the end of a quick game that the villain team stank. I told him that the really fun part of playing clix is that it's a lot more rewarding to win with something that shouldn't win, but using skill and knowledge to overcome the challenge. To which he responded (whatever...) and snatched the heroes from me for the last game.
I could have taught him a lesson, but decided that him learning mechanics of the game is more important at this point than trying to impart gaming ethics, enjoying the game or how to play and behave with others. I didn't want him to get turned off by bombarding him with rules.
So I served up the villains two at a time so he could better understand positioning and how to get around defenses. Lex and Cold survived as we went to time. Overall my kid enjoyed it and I was inspired that he caught on with the math concepts as well as he did.
A good first adventure. Look forward to more!

**Helmet of Fate special object 7 pt. smwws100
Justice league ata 1 pt. each 6 characters 6pts. ata080
*Dark Magician is the only "others" piece used on either team. it was done so because it is the only Yu-Gi-Oh! piece with actual lore that could be tied in. by using Iron Pharaoh as a substitute for the Pharaoh that the character Mahado gave his life for.
**the helmet of fate was used for storyline reasons the previous Doctor fate was killed in a battle with Darkseid but it severely weakened Darkseid so darksied sent Brutaal to recover it with the help of the sinister 6 from superman during transport. Superman is seeking help from another Mystic Doctor Strange in finding a new host so that thew can bring an end to the Sinister 6 and the war against Darksied and Apocolypse.
My Brothers Team The Sinister 6
Brutaal SMWW019b 175 pts(leader)~ has Lust relic - After this clone of Kal-el was defeated by Val-zod and Red Tornado, Darkseid recovered the ashes of the clone and recreated the monstrosity. Now, Brutaal seeks vengeance against those who once destroyed him and the real Kal-el, Superman.
Lust FL066- 117 pts In this universe, Superman opened Pandora's Box. Lust is his manefestation, representing Superman's wanderlust. He misses Krypton, and while he is trying to make a new home on Earth, he feels that he will never belong.
Lyssa Drak WOL011 - 91 pts Lyssa Drak was sent to this Earth by Mongul, who leads the Sinestro Corps during one of Sinestro's many "vacations." She is there to test the defenses of Earth to see if it would be an easy trophy for Mongul to add to his collection. Her arcane powers come from her connection to the Book of Parallax.
Power Ring JLTW044- 70 ptsThis Power Ring is a fourth incarnation of Power Ring. Little is known about him except that he has a grudge against Superman, which has drawn him to the collective cause against Superman.
Rainbow Raider FL026- 68 pts Rainbow Raider is an opportunist and a thief. He was on a jewel heist in Tokyo when he discovered a curious necklace that caught his eye. Later he put it on, and was given the power to Wield the Rainbow(Taste the Rainbow). Now he has joined forces with the other members of the Sinister Six for his own reasons, which he has yet to disclose.
Destiny DOFP021- 50 pts In this universe mutants draw their powers from magical mutations/patrons, and Destiny draws her powers from the being Darkseid. Her task is to aid the second Kal-el clone so that he will not fail again.
6 Original Sinister Six ATAs = 18 pts
***Lust Relic: 8 pts
Build total: 597 points
***Lust relic was used for personal storyline reasons. Lust has attached itself to Brutaal because of Brutaal's lust for destruction, primarily of those who defeated him before. We were unsure as to whether or not attaching it with Lust's trait counted as Tactics, but we were both fine with it for storyline reasons, so we did it.

Scene -
Superman and the Justice League are transporting a Mystical relic known as the Helmet of Fate in order to find a new hero to add to their ranks and finally stop the Sinister Six. On the way to Doctor Strange the Justice League took a detour through New York's Liberty Island and was ambushed by explosives, causing the helmet to land a few yards away from superman and Dark Magician while the other four members are blown a couple of yards away. The Smoke settles and on the other side of the statue the Sinister Six stand waiting to attack.
Hat uses telekinetic powers to move up Emma Frost, Mercy teleports to the statue of liberty. Superman grabs the helmet of fate and regroups with Dark Magician, Mercy and Emma at the base of the statue. Faust moves into the shadows.
the sinister 6 rush with Brutaal leading the charge, but Emma Frost uses her powers of illusion to avoid the attack. Power ring carries Destiny, Rainbow Raider, and Lyssa to support Brutaal, and Lust moves in front of the squad.
Faust reconverges with the League and Dark Magician moves around to flank the Sinister Six. Faust emerges from the shadows and rejoins the League at the base of the Statue.
Brutaal attacks Emma again, this time seeing through her tricks and hurls a boulder into her, knocking her into the wall behind her (crit hit, aww yea) and rendering her dead at his feet (and a feat it is). Lust charged Mercy, but she was able use her powers to dodge his attack. Power Ring carried Rainbow Raider, Lyssa Drak, and Destiny behind the Justice League in a flanking maneuver
Dark magician wraps back around to support his team. Mercy user her magic to telekinetically place superman onto a fallen sentiel head that was left after the secret crisis. Faust uses his psychic blast to attack Lust, which attempts to change shape and fails a war of the wits ensues with each side attempting to use probability to their advantage, superman crushes Lust to incapacitation.
Lyssa sidesteps towards mercy, rainbow raider tries to hit superman, misses. Brutaal tries to hit superman and fails(crit miss, aww yea) angrily(casually) smashing his face into the statue. power ring runs and shoots a wave that pulses hitting the not so "Super" Man and faust for 1. Brutaal Sidesteps and carries Destiny back so she can see everyone to better channel her devious powers of perception
Faust sidesteps towards the statue of liberty, Dark Magician attacks power ring and one shots him.
Brutaal uses his hypersonic speed and tries to hit faust, critically missing again(**again**) punishing himself for his failure this time using his heat vision to incinerate the "s" on his chest and searing his cloned flesh with it. Lyssa shows Mercy no mercy, knocking her out. Destiny and Rainbow Raider rest
Superman charges Lyssa and misses. Faust, hat, and Dark Magician rest and try to recuperate
Rainbow raider hits superman with a blast of light, lyssa misses her fist slipping past mercy, brutaal sidestep carries destiny over to support the rest of the squad
Faust and Dark Magician miss Lyssa each with blasts that could penetrate even the most invunerable of defenses and Superman takes a deep breath to prepare for what he must do next(code for player forgot it could move).
Rainbow raider misses superman with a not so precise shot, brutaal uses his speed at a hypersonic level to deal a load of well placed hits on faust. he then sidestep and carries lyssa away from superman's grasp
Superman exerts his energy to move on Raider and Destiny Faust regenerates but it exhausts him to do so causing him to cough blood(#pushtoregenboys). Dark Magician and Hat prepare to move.
Brutaal Sidestep caries lyssa, places her in Line of superman(perplexes down his defense). Brutaal uses incredible speed to pick up a sentinel arm also left from the Secret Crisis and smashes (super-bops) Superman causing him to fall unconscious. Destiny moves on the Helmet of Fate.
Faust rests, dark magician and hat move back to the site of the bomb to try to regroup.
Brutaal uses his crushing strength and sonic speed to finish off Faust. he then Sidestep and carries lyssa towards Dark Magician and hat. Rainbow Raider moves as much as he can to put him in range to send pulsing wave to Dark Magician and Hat from hindering(there's something amusing about a guy in a neon rainbow jumpsuit hiding in a bush). He hits hat(with pulse wave)
Dark magician moves as much as he can to put Brutaal in range.(chase Dark Magician not having move+attack top dial is hard)
Brutaal sidestep and carries lyssa into a bush to hinder the lines of sight. brutaal again uses his extreme speed and power this time finishing Hat leaving him prone and unconscious.
Dark Magician fires of blasts of powerful magic but fails to hit Lyssa.
Brutaal prepares to strike, Raider delivers a small blow(precision striking through rolling 6 for invul feels good man) to Dark Magician
Dark magician clears wondering if he should leave the object and his compatriots to the devices of his Sinister foes and find reinforcements, but decides this would be cowardly(good guys always finish last) and instead rests preparing to sacrifice himself.
Brutaal's furious speed again aides him as he hits the Dark Magician while exploiting the Mage's weakness, he puts himself in place so Lyssa and Destiny shield him with their bodies.(code for player was dumb and didn't realize Dark Magician had move and attack so support pieces had to dive in the way)
Dark Magician Runs and shoots a blast hoping to penetrate Destiny(giggity?) in a last ditch effort to stop these sinister foes, after he hits he suffers destiny's curse as he used his magical manipulation to interfere with the future causing him to stagger.
Brutaal is the one to finish the mage with his Brutal strength speed and ability to exploit the weakness destiny provided causing him to fall. Boom tubes open taking the incapacitated with them, but leaving Mahado the Dark Magician. Brutaal thought the mage was powerful, so he left him alive because he might be useful to Darkseid. Thus the mage awakens to search for a team that may travel to Apokolips to rescue his four remaining allies from the hellish force of The lord of Apocalypse Darksied
Emma Frost was the only participant of the battle who died. The rest of the Justice League were Knocked Out.
sorry its so long I narrated the battle and worked in a Story since it was a RP Event.
My (small, casual) group liked this so much we're thinking of doing an "elseworlds" style campaign based on the results of our first game. I'm not sure where the best home would be for write-ups, but that's how inspired we were by this concept. So, so cool.

I'd say this probably works like any other time you are given the same power by two things. You pick which version of it you are using. He can either use his enemies fear him leadership at the regular point value, or he can use it for 300 points leadership.

Did this today with a friend and made our own little bit of RP out of it also.
I fielded the villians and my buddy worked the heroes.
The Villians
Immortus - ACAS058 (leader)

Superboy (100) - SLOSH046
Beast - WXM062
Rouge - WKM021
Red Lantern Guy Gardner - WOL030b
3-D Man - AVAS013b
Immortus leads a charge onto Hydra Island where the heroes are prepared to push them back.
TURN 1
Question leads the infiltration team to setup a surprise assault, while Immortus, who knows the time stream, meets the heavy hitters head on. Lyssa Drak attempts to provide support, while Empress grabs her eye. Lyssa then prayed upon Superboy's fears.
TURN 2
In response, 3-D Man showed the Boy of Steel how to overcome his fears by punching Drak and then returning to his side. Superboy feeling his fears being alleviated used his heat vision to finish Drak off and knock her out of the fight. Guy was angry at the mere sight of Immortus going off and landing a flurry of blows on him reducing him to a much weaker state. All the while The Outsider was trying to pull strings from behind the scenes, pushing himself to the limit and beyond to no avail. The Outsider then opened a portal as Immortus had his plan fail to stop the quickly advancing heroes with Psycho running close behind after realizing how out of shape he was.
TURN 3
The heroes waited, checking for any plans or traps from Immortus and his troops. The Outsider tended to the leader and soon Immotus was fighting fit once more.
TURN 4
The heroes setup a trap and waited for the Villians to assault them. Emerald Empress took this opportunity to run in and entice Gardner's rage causing him to attack his friend Superboy...Which worked unfortunately. Then the Villians setup in a counter formation.
TURN 5
3-D Man assaulted The Outsider knocking him unconscious as he took a damage from a mystical source. Superboy attacked before Psycho could prepare and hit him hard enough to rattle the diminutive villian. Then Gardner assaulted the Emerald Empress smacking her so hard her eye fell away. BGeast ran up to Psycho to engage him physically believing him to be the best option. All the while Question kept Rouge with him in case of an assault. Harley bounced over gleefully to the Emerald Eye trying to see if she could use it and finding herself unable to do so. Doctor Psycho attempted to take control of Beast, but his mind was much too strong.
TURN 6
Gardner was inspired by Superboy's leadership to show Empress just how angry he was. This led to his own pain, but all it did was fill him with great rage. Rouge took this chance to attack and hurt Harley knocking her unconscious while Beast kept his eyes on Psycho. Psycho tried to influence Beast once again, but his mind again was too strong. Immortus as this point had had enough and blasted Rouge through her defenses knocking her unconscious.
TURN 7
Psycho and Immortus were splashed in the plasma of Gardner burning them resulting in Superboy reducing Psycho's threat leave to zero. 3-D Man quickly attacked Immortus so hard he was thrown into a wall. At this point Immortus pushed himself to escape only delaying the inevitable.
TURN 8
3-D Man destroyed the wall allowing for Superboy to rush Immortus only to whiff on the attack. Immortus could only catch his breath as he stared down his enemy.
TURN 9
Gardner rushed Immortus and showed him why he was such a powerful fighter allowing Immortus to meet the ground. This was how the Justice League prevailed.
or so they thought...
Immortus, being the master of time that he is, was able to turn back the clock and reset the encounter all the way back to the beginning, but knew how to change up his attack to better his odds of taking down Superboy.
TURN 1
Superboy brought 3-D Man, while Guy Gardner and Beast followed, whiled Rouge and Question hid in preparation for when they would be useful. Empress grabbed her Eye and watched the resulting Villians beginning to move out. With this Harley and Psycho followed Immortus into the shadows.
TURN 2
The leadership of both Question and Superboy was powerful enough to work quite well inspiring Rouge and Beast. Superboy attempted to fry Harley and Doctor Psycho, missing by a hair. Gardner then proceeded to lead the assault upon Immortus hitting him twice with 3-D Man following close behind. They managed to hit the time traveler, while Question and Rouge followed closely behind. Beast took a guarding stance preparing for retaliation. Emerald Empress took advantage of Gardner's weakened state turning him against 3-D Man hitting him once and knocking him into a wall. Once that was done, The Outsider brought back Immortus and Harley to a safe location.
TURN 3
Question assaulted the Empress in retaliation narrowly missing her, while his team caught their breath. Immortus was able to convince Outsider to believe in him letting him marvel in the glow of such a leader. With this Outsider quickly healed his commander for as much as he could when Immortus used his mastery of the time stream to refresh everyone of the combatants. Psycho then proceeded to perplex the Question causing him to be off guard when Psycho used his mind control to once more take Gardner and have him assault Question. There was little Question could do to defend himself. This led to a single strike which hurt, but didn't come near to killing him. After this the Empress tired the same against Gardner, but he had grown a resistance to it, fighting it off.
TURN 4
Gardner and Question managed to used their plasma and gas together resulting in coughing and burns on Empress and Psycho before Question attack Empress. Question ultimately missed, but Gardner didn't. He knocked out Empress showing her how effective anger could be. Then he attacked Psycho, but the Doctor managed to dodge it barely. Outsider once more doctored Immortus hoping to return his master pristine condition, managing it heartily.
TURN 5
The smoke and plasma was too much resulting in Doctor Psycho being knocked unconscious, which let Question charge and strike Lyssa Drak. She couldn't do anything but be hurt before the Villians got to counterattack. Wit this Lyssa stepped around Question allowing Harley to play injection on him hurting his insides. Harley then tried to strike Question which led to her missing her mallet.
TURN 6
Question attacked Lyssa missing much like Harley had after letting his poisonous smoke do its job. Gardner took his chance managing a blow on Immortus, though not doing much damage, while Rouge attacked and missed both of them disengaging from Immortus. Then 3-D Man moved to stare down Immortus as best as he could. Immortus struck down 3-D Man for his hubris. Lyssa Drak then assaulted Question much to her regret as he dodged it easily.
TURN 7
Question let his gas go knocking out Harley with her making a fart joke. Superboy took his chance to knock out the Outsider with his heat vision. Then both Rouge and Beast made attacks upon Immortus missing with unfortunate ease. Gardner went ahead and move to tie up Lyssa Drak hoping that she couldn't escape their clutches. Immortus used stamina many would believe a colossal would have to teleport away.
TURN 8
Gardner followed Lyssa as she had sidestepped away and spewed his plasma ending her consciousness for now. Beast chased down this man and Superboy followed using his Heat Vision. Immortus then attempted to run once more as Beast had managed to undo his teleport and it worked.
TURN 9
Immortus finally escaped the Heroes leaving his "friends" behind.
Thus Immortus' plan failed in the glory of this Justice League. Superboy will grow up to be the Superman we all know and love. What happens next is anyone's guess.
So out of 2 attempts at this matchup the heroes were on top. Was very fun and I can't wait to see where this session ends up heading.
Harry Leland GSX 020
Little was known of Leland's past before encountering the X-Men, however it is known that he was a lawyer, and that he played the Stocks making a fortune. As an ally of Sebastian Shaw, Leland rose in the Hellfire Club to join their Inner Circle after helping Shaw take out the Council of the Chosen. In doing so he was given the position of The Black Bishop. Back Room meetings with a Samuel Sterns has lead to use his influence inside the Hellfire Club to fund his many research facilities that support the rather shadier side of silence.
Samuel Sterns (The Leader) MU 044
Sam was caught in an explosion when a cylinder of radioactive waste he was moving unexpectedly blew up. Recovering in the hospital, he discovered he had an insatiable thirst for knowledge and rapidly read through every book he could lay his hands on. Weeks later, Sam underwent a physical transformation as well, when his skin turned green and his skull expanded upwards. Calling himself the Leader, he organized a spy ring to steal scientific secrets (funded by his new benefactor inside the Hellfire Club, Harry Leland).
Mr. Mxyptlk SMWW 060 enjoys tormenting Superman.
The Leader and Harry Leland have their hands in many different areas. Leland hints at secrets he hears in the Hellfire Club to Leader and the Leader sets plans in motion.
The Leader creates a potion that will alter a person and give them the ability to "Absorb" the physical properties of anything they touch. He gives the potion to Leland to take to a prison to his next client. Leland slips potion into water before Creel enters room. Leland tells Creel he can get him out of there but he will owe him big time in the future. Creel agrees and asks how. Leland says just drink some water and In a bit you can just leave whenever you like. Absorbing Man IIM 103.
Later the Leader is starting to have spy's inside his own organization and hires an outside assistant to take care of his problems in house. Lady Shiva SOG 039 gladly accepts.
With Kryptonite hard to find the Leader gets Leland to use his connections inside the Hellfire Club to gather information on how to obtain it. Bruce Wayne directs Leland to a Mr. Lex Luthor for more information on Kryptonite. Lex is happy to sell him some for a hefty fee. The Leader gets the Kryptonite to one of his lead scientists, K. Russell Abernathy. With Superman as the emblem of superheroes why not take down the biggest fish. The Energy Weapon will cripple Superman. Alas the weapon isn't made due to an explosion turning Abernathy into Kryptonite Man BB 032.
It is now time to get Supermans attention. So as The Leader and bodyguard bring out Kryptonite Man and Leland has called in what he is owed from Creel. THEN pop in comes Mr. Mxyptlk and insists he can help run afoul. He likes toying with Superman. The Leader agrees and deep inside thinks this imp could prove to be very useful if I can harness his powers. With this the Sinister Six is born.

Superman SMWW065 had been attempting to more effectively defend the world but unfortunately even he had his limits. He was pushing them each time he would race off to another disaster as he had not slowed down in weeks. It was partially for this reason that he had so much trouble with the handling of things and allowing people to slip through the cracks. However something he noticed was the large amount of Kryptonite being purchased and this left him with a large clue... Someone wanted him dead and gone.
Elongated man FL051 ,aka Ralph Dibny, was following many leads as he was always on the move. This led to many times he had crossed paths with Superman and certain other heroes. This time he noticed and followed a certain sale by Mr.Lex Luthor. He was notorious for never having done anything wrong an this didn't sit well with Ralph. He knew of the man of steels weakness and decided trailing Superman would be best to get to the bottom of this case.
Whizzer DP053b saw the world at 500mph constantly. He rarely slowed down to smell the roses instead choosing to live an active lifestyle. He was one of the people that Superman discussed the Kryptonite to considering the Whizzer was one of the few people who could relatively keep up with the man of steel. Whizzer agreed to assisting Supes should he ever need him.
Engineer FL60 or Angela "Angie" Spica was a woman with 9 pints of liquid machinery. She was powerful and could replicate anything with her machines. This of course was a great way to fight crime given her infinite versatility. Of course what it also meant was that she had a job dealing with computers. This was why when Ralph Dibny approached her and talked to her about her alter ego she understood. She wanted to help people and this way she could go where needed when he clicked a special button she had made. This was how he would eventually contact her if he got into too large of a fight.
Daredevil DP202 was a lawyer by the name of Matt Murdock. He was extremely goo at his job and as such had a direct line to Dibny. Ralph would use him to keep out of trouble when his 'investigations' involved a little more rough and tumble tactics. Thanks to this he had actually managed to figure out Matt Murdocks secret identity which led to the two bonding and Elongated man having another signal for him.
Lastly but certainly not least! Hulk NFAOS052 was an agent of SHEILD and he was little more then a weapon for them. So the secret begin this was that he actually had a genius mind. Bruce Banner was in the radius of a bomb he had been making which bathe him in Gamma rays. This was the origin of the Hulk and how he came to be taken in by SHEILD. This I what led to the Hulks mobilization. Why he was there the day Superman finally confronted the Sinister Six.

The game went great for the heroes (which was my team) though the Absorbing man took forever to even take a single damage. However the lucky number to hurt him was two.
It started with an assault on a bank the Villians rallying behind The Leader. They were mainly doing this to draw out the Man of Steel an remind him he isn't a god. Gods don't bleed or get tired. Superman did both given their previous altercations. When Superman arrived that was when the Leader realized his mistake in focusing solely on himself. He saw a large green monstrosity with a smattering of littler heroes. He regretted his underestimating of them as the Whizzer had soon applied a one-two punch. Shortly thereafter Engineer followed up teaching Leader the value of not judging a book by its cover as her metal hand cannons incapacitated him knocking him out. Kryptonite man however took a concentrated blast from Supermans heat vision. With this he was hurt and quickly knocked out by Daredevils bully club. Lady Shiva attempted to intercept the assaulting heroes only for Hulk and Engineer to knock her unconscious. Creek though wouldn't go down without a fight teaching Hulk and Whizzer how far a wrecking ball can reach before eventually being knocked unconscious by Engineer.
Fun teams! I'm glad you are using this with your son to try and make him a gamer! Sportsmanship is an extremely hard thing to teach, and honestly, the most important thing. It sounds like you did a good job of it!
Thanks! I'm using the superhero shows like The Flash and the Brave and the Bold and Avengers animated shows to act as a gateway to reading comics. His reading comprehension at school has been a little lackluster, so it's time to bolster it with the challenge of interpreting sequential art in comics! Heroclix simply reinforces his interest in the characters and now with the RPG factor, storytelling. Also I keep him boning up on the characters by reading the character cards out loud.
Dream BIG, but keep the small dreams around just in case...
