Well, mine sounds like a book title, but it's not the title of my book.
Sounds like a book title and is a book title are different. If you had said the former the first time this probably would have been moot much more quickly.
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

You're just reaching. I know your game, Rokk. You've tried this before. You were wrong then, and you were wrong now.

Unsure of their new surroundings and what exactly they had become, discretion was the word of the day for many of the denizens. Well, all of the denizens really but that denotes quibbling over the meaning of discretion. Perhaps caution was a better word. It would all be irrelevant now. Night had fallen and they all had their wits about them and their "errands" to run.
Night has begun. Let's say 48 hours to get actions in for the weekend phase.
Night 1: Some Things of Note
*A Booming Voice
“Come good sir, you the largest of the large, and let us go and discuss your accomplishments in more depth and detail.”
“There’s no need to yell, I’ll with you even if I move like a snail.”
“Ah, a joker, excellent. I hope you won’t stop there.”
“I won’t stop, it will be nice to talk with someone with hair.”
So the two men walked along, conversing as if old friends. Perhaps in an alternate universe they were, but that is merely speculation and dream. As they walked, they bumped into a bit of a gruff, skittish one and the three of them fell down. However, all three got up unharmed and murmured profuse apologies to the others. It’s not that they were impolite, but time waits for no one and nothing.
As the two conversing men walked along, the first one remarked that the road they walked looked strikingly familiar. He could have sworn he’d seen the same man on a bus bench meditating earlier in the night. No, surely not, it was a trick of the imagination. His traveling companion noticed the increased tension and worry in the speaker’s face. As he started to speak, a shot rang out and the speaker’s chest started sprouting red from a shot that had pierced his heart.
As the largest of large men looked around, he could see no one. All he could hear were the death thores of his companion and the faint sound of horse hooves growing fainter all the while. As the man experienced his last moments, he reflected briefly upon his life. He had skills and wits, but had he always used them properly. Sure he’d done some unsavory things with them, but unsavory things were still often necessary. His question would be left unanswered as he breathed his last. His companion, not knowing what to do and not wanting to be around when the authorities came, simply left.
A victorious artisan was rooming the streets in search of someone. High and low he searched, peering down every alley, byway, nook, and cranny he could. Try as he would, he could find no sign of the young lady. Frustrated that his “masterpiece” would have to wait until another time, he went trudging back to whence he came, angry at many things.

Day 2 begins now. You have 24 hours. With 17 players, 9 is majority.
Yeah, that's what I was looking for. I wanted to see which one of us was messed with.
So obviously I have nothing, but write up examination at this point.
I'm trying to think if the SK is a historical Serial Killer, or a literary SK. The victorious part doesn't really help me though. It implies winning though so historical SK combined with book about victory or a winning historical figure combined with a serial killer from a book.
Or I could be reading this all wrong.

Because I'm not sure why the SK would want to risk a kill on Rokk this early. Unless the SK has a way of not being detected, Rokk is a player that usually draws a bit of attention. Mafias, in general, have the benefit of multiple people with multiple abilities that make it easier to take on increased scrutiny.
Plus, the victorious artisan has a "masterpiece" to complete. That doesn't imply mafia at all. It implies singular person (or pair if someone else shows up) with a goal.
It's not a rock-solid theory, but it's the one I'm going with until I see something that contradicts it.
