There's a little voice in my brain that tells me I may' expectations won these LPC threads a few times over the years of it wasn't that we've always had a couple mods on here, and maybe they are following the Clix Illuminati directive to keep me from ever winning.

You can't prove to me that this is not true!
not sure we can prove that it is true either
Well the bank won't give me credit because i'm a bad risk and I don't pay my bills on time. So I have to work for what I have!

I'll admit that I have a standing request into a certain mod, who will remain nameless, to delete any winning post you may have. He didn't seem entirely on board with doing so. Plus that would only work if the others agreed to not quote you after you post and there's too many bleeding hearts around here who would congratulate you so that plan wouldn't work anyway. A fun pipe dream (and run on sentence) at least.

Ugh. Left my phone at home again. I hate when I do that! But at least I remembered my clix for the game tonight! My life is patterns and adding a step, usually makes me miss one.
Dress pants are a great example. In my head pants are a 3-step process; button, zip, belt. Dress pants have that extra button on the inside and I almost always forget to zip my fly when I'm wearing dress pants.
So I guess my cell phone is the zipper in my dress pants of life!

Your 3-step process is missing a step, or do you not put them on before button, zip, belt?

To me, they aren't on until you've done that other stuff. Some things are just automatic, you know like looking for toilet paper before you start squeezing one out.

One day I noticed a lady at work had her zipper down.
I didn't want to embarrass her by pointing it out, so I just reached over and zipped it up for her.
She apparently hadn't wanted it zipped up as she immediately slapped me.
It most definitely is not. However, many of the countries in the EU are favored trading partners.

Those peasants? Yeah, they're proof that Lord Doom is a master of not only the physical and metaphysical sciences, but also the economic sciences.
