still i think they are not tourney legal right now so why pay $10+ for an uncommon or common gear card that you can get at cost in less than 3 weeks? (an i luv this plastic crak)
Definately not tourney for at least 5 weeks -- that is why I think the price was so low for the pieces that are obviously not rare.
Man, the card stats is just a plain oxymoron in itself.
It just so screaming "FAQ me please!!!".
Its always good when people say that.....
On a slightly different note, I won the Assualt Electronic camo card, and its going on my Chikako :), regardless of the misprint on the card. Its pretty obvious it was disigned with that particular mech in mind
Has anyone seen the stats for the SH hellstar? The HERO pilot would make it am offensive beast regardless of the - defense mod.
i was fortunate enough to have a peek at a convention. it is a Hellstar, a lot cheaper than Clyde however the stats are similar without the special equipment, that is where your customization comes in! :speechles

That's not a misprint. I think your Battlemaster and your opponent might take issue with that if you play a tourney game.
While some gear is indeed designed with specific 'Mechs in mind, usually the existing special equipment gear isn't it.
They'd take issue because it isn't a misprint. Card states that it's for bipeds (in the requirements, I believe). Chikako's a quad. Methinks......... lol :p
ah, ok. Why does it have the quad speed mode printed on the top of the card and the paddle yet not under 'requirements'? does this only happen for 'speed' gear cards?
sorry to be pedantic, its just not very specific is all.

If it isn't a misprint, why does the little paddle have both quad and biped symbols while the requirements box only shows the biped symbol? Wouldn't that indicate a misprint on at least one of those two locations? Granted, only the requirements section matters (and shame on me for not looking at that part, myself, in my earlier post), but it does create confusion to have the paddle differ from the Requirements section.

It is indeed a misprint! I'm very sorry, D503 and all. That was my mistake for not reading all of the backlog and having too many EC gear cards in mind. I should improve my reading skills. :ermm:
The requirements are a misprint. This card is to be used for both Quad and 'Mech speed modes.

Aw, inn'she niiice? C'mon, do we deserve her? Do we?
Course we deserve her. Do you know any other bunch of Battletech junkies who sit around and practically worship her every word regarding rules and design paradigms??
