You cannot surge and also go from soaring level to ground level or vice versa in the same action.

Surge is a close combat action.
Changing soaring levels is a move action.

If you read carefully, there are 3 different types of actions you can give. Those 2 are incompatible action types.

I don't understand why all these people are saying that Varatrix can surge. Please check the rulebook. Figures with the wing movemoent symbol can't surge hence, he does not have first strike priority against Kossak.

You yourself need to read the rulebook. A :wing: allows that warrior to soar. A :boot: means that the warrior can double-time (and takes one click of damage). Varatrix has a :sword: for attack and that means he can surge (for one click of damage), and gang up.

I like misty charges. It has a nice ring to it.

Please don't disrespect Danielle Steele, she does happen to be my favorite author and I find it rather unpleasant that you would even consider "Redirected Opinion" or "Silent Judgement" as a title befitting of her unparralelled writing expertise.

well know that 2.0 is out and there has been ample time to play him wat is the DL on Varatrix. is he broken like i said and think or is he just good?
